Sorry I have to ask you, if your knowledge is not enough for it, why you comment? I don't think Petra fixed the movie, 'cause pointer just missed birds several times and it was clear.
I'm sure it was very good pointer, but I got many + years of hunting with pointing dogs experience and I need several minutes to understand what I see. You wanna say Andy is not good at all?
My point Andy is definetly hunting dog, but he's not trialer.
But from practical point of view, when we talk about hunting and shooting and when we count the number of bird been hit within 1 or 2 hours having 10 shells only, Andy was much more effective and nobody care how he run slow or fast, stylish or not. He pointed and pointed right way, he didn't run behind flushed birds - that's all we need in this case.
Dog has to find all birds and not to miss no one bird!
Also you don't understand there are many different hunting and trial rules in the world today.
Did you find anything in my post that points to that Andy is not a good hunting dog? I NEVER said this. I know that he is not a trialer but a very good hunting dog and also, I know his owner quite well. I just pointed out that you judge dogs based on 1, 2, 3 videos, without ever having seeing them in real. This is all I wanted to say but now you attack again...
