Great picture - good idea.However, personally, I think it should be Irish/ Irish red and white on the rosette as the site says "Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World" and the numbers of other breeds contributing to the website is small. We are meeting in the Irish ring and most people seem to have Irish.

Thats the way to do it.......Looks good, only one problem....some of us are complete dummies as far as posting pictures, come on everyone knows that I couldn't post a picture if I my life depended on it...that said I don't have a picture of all four setters, so all totally irrelevant, Dah!!!!

No disrespect to the '''photo'' wonderful as it is, this new one is a drawing of the four types of setters, this is far more neutral don't know who drew it, but it is really good....well done all

I prefer the photo to the drawing as i feel the animal heads are a far better representation of what the respective breeds should look like than those depicted on the drawing.Plus I think it is a great photo in its own right.
I do feel if exclusively setters is for all the setter breeds that they should ALL be represented irrespective of how small a proportion of the membership is taken up by non Irish setter/red and whites.We should be making everyone welcome.

Hi there Colette,
As an 'Arty Farty' sought, I felt that the ''representation'' rather than a photo, especially this drawing, (it is in the ''old fashioned'' style, the original style, that is why I thought of it as better than a photo), I agree the photo is really really good, but the artwork is more representative of the ''SPIRIT'' of the dogs, I know a lot of arty farty mumbo jumbo, but hey that is what discussions are all about, and I am probably the only one to like that kind of thing.
We have a few really good artists in this group...Why not ask one of them???? and get either a caricature or a proper life study of all four breeds. But I will obviously go with the majority....great discussion though....;o))
