Hello, thank you for the invitation to join the group. We are just back from two shows in Slovakia - our dogs both finished with V1, CAC, CACIB one day or res. CACIB the second day.
Our dogs are Saoisse Red nokomis, the bitch on the picture - a cheeky girl, and our visitor Dalriach Auchindoun.

    Hi,
Glad to be a member. Here in the United States come January 2009 our beautiful breed will be able to show at dog shows. This will be very exciting. My little Cailin is now 16 months old. She is O'Dobhailien Cailin Alainn JH. We are looking forward to seeing more Irish Red and White Setters at events.
Take care all and talk again soon,
    Judy B.

I finally put my foot in the show ring this weekend. First time for me! Miles was entered in two ARBA shows. Both shows he took Winners Dog and Best of Winners. That helps with the confidence level. It was 103 degree heat and that is just too hot.

Hello to you all its great to see so many IRWS owners on the site.I recently breed my own bitch Bishopmill Bronze Quean.I used CH Dalriach Garryowen because not only has he good looks but is a very promising FT dog. However when I was looking at dogs the one thing I did notice was ,there was not too many dogs which are not related. So is it time for a new outcross programme before the breed becomes too inbred and starts to develop more genetic problems.I hope we can keep this discussion on a scientific and rartonal basis.
