It's actually his 2nd car wash ride, the first was a couple of weeks ago. He just watches the action : )

My son has begged me to take the dog through the car wash (in the car!) but I've refused on the grounds that he'd probably be frantic. Dougal looks quite calm though here. How does he react? Not that I'm changing my mind, just curious!!

John,he is cautious "fools rush in..." and all that but he's very brave!
Jane, all 3 of my dogs have experienced the car wash ( in the car, as you said, he-he). I just say "We're going thru the car wash" and then just sit calmly and quietly like it's no big deal. Dougal just watches, he startled once or twice the first time and I just said "that was loud, wasn't it?" And left him to deal since there really wasn't any danger and he was fine. Afterward, I pet him and say "How fun was THAT! " And so I guess he thinks it is! lol
