Unfortunately all my boys are sunrise chaps!  We often see it I am afraid.  This time of year they try to get me up around 5am but are told to lay down it is not time!!  I usually give in about 5.45am even on the weekend!

Yes we have very quiet evenings, they are excited when I get in from work, but my husband is home in the day, once feeding time (mine) is over they just settle down and not a peak until wee time at about 9.30pm.  On the weekends they can be asleep by tea time if we have been out walking and on the allotment.  I often say I should try to keep them awake in the evenings (like with children I believe) but I am also too tired!!  A vicious circle :))

Ah naughty boy!  To be fair, if i have small plants in or onions then I fence the beds off otherwise they will trample or just lay on them.  I did bury some rotted manure the other day and while my back was turned digging another hole, Finn was digging in the crumbly earth trench I have just covered over, and the retriever had a very dirty face!!
