An unusual name some people who had a pup off me years ago came up with was Defor - "Why Defor?" I asked, puzzled.
"Defor dog, "they replied- I thought it was a super name but I have never used it my self as I only keep bitches nowadays
I have found 2 things get mine eating after ops. Hot roast chicken from the deli at the supermarket and/or Whiskas Oh so Fishy cat food ( in small quantities as it is rich but sometimes they will get going with it and then you can mix it in with h...
I have a bitch with pancreatic problems and at the moment I am trying her on Beta Sensitive Salmon and Rice (with just a little bit of Whiskas Oh So Fishy mixed in to get her going ) She is a lot better at the moment. She has a tendency to be sick...
It's when they try to charge past you and you nearly lose your knees in these circumstances..!
He only wants you to throw a stick for him... you hadn't noticed the twig so he thought he would try something a bit bigger.
Well done to Mona and Will, I am so pleased for you. Geisha Girl was so very ill a few years ago that it is extra special to see her looking so well and winning as a veteran .
I bought my first Irish from the late June Coates as a pet but she suggested I showed her and I quickly became "hooked" and I have been showing setters ever since.

Absolutely. I keep asking myself WHY every time I get up at ungodly hour to take the dogs out before I set out for the show. With the dark mornings it's all done under torchlight with me stumbling about. Again I ask myself WHY!!!!
Hi Viv,
Thanks for that, no didn't see the group cos my lift wanted to go home. It took us over 4 hours and we are all knackered today. I am getting too old for this!!!
Thanks Viv for your congrats, can't describe how happy we are, Dooley just loves pleasing his mommy and did really his best, so proud of him and also happy for Mel, great she could see him winning both CC's , hope his 3rd is not to far away.
As for Beatles, we were so proud of him, he behaved really well and what a clever boy he is, he stood most of the time on 4 legs on a ground and really enjoyed his first show weekend and trip! So there he got his first first!
Well thanks the paper is still 150 because I have had them out side for the past 4/5 days, the weather is cool but not raining so they are out there, I am freezing with the French windows open all day and well into the night, but it does save on paper and they are learning to be house trained and they are, for the most, doing really well. No I did forget to put the red girl on the site...will be doing some more pictures on site later..only the ones that will be in contention and yes red girl is definitely in there, my eyes were opened to Lucy , purple girl when you came it really surprised me, I hadn't really thought about her before..but she is very pretty Will speak soon Thanks for the comments Dee and the gang

Thanks Viv,
Much appreciated and I am so proud of him. Chris Sheldon was delighted with the Group place as well. It made the dreadful journey home more worthwhile and of course my 2nd with Milo in Limit was not to be sneezed at plus libby 5th in Mid limit first time out after having her babies so a really nice day thanks
