In memory of Dunnygask Honeysuckle with Cordarragh

To dearest Jenjens, who wouldn't hurt a fly,
You gave a welcoming smile every time I came by.

A sniff and a cuddle and a waggly tail,
You greeted and loved me, always there without fail.

The granny of my girls - Ruby, Jessie and Poppy.
You live on in them, all loving and soppy.

In the shows they will enter, to you pride they will bring
Every time they do stand and do trot round the ring.

You looked like my Fergus, with his grizzly chin.
Now older, now wiser, no longer fast or so thin.

Your girls are very nice. I did not have as much happiness as you and I didn't see Flash yet. But I think Dee has a good eye and I hope that he will be not only a dog to cuddle. I can't wait.
