lovely pics agnieszka ill have to get some of layla doing it .i thought she was the only one that did it .ive had 2 setters before and they did not do it but then i thought it was due to her been blind she did it

hi alison my layla is 5 and she still does this when we go to bed.she just loves gettin her blankets its so cute seeing her treddle and hugging the blanket.she does not eat or chew the blanket she just cuddles it

- How many Irish Setters do you have?
- I have one irish setter layla, she was diagnosed as havng lopra at 2 and 1/2 years old (shed probably had it for 18months before diagnosis )now at 4 years and 11 months she is totally blind to this disease.layla was hereditry clear and clear herself from pra(rcd1).i also have a boxer whose name is lucy she is laylas other eyes
- How long have you owned Irish Setters?
- we got our first red setter on new years eve 1976 and had them ever since

Our lovely lovely Layla is 5 today 3/5/2004. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART It was confirmed earlier this week that our little girl is totally blind from lopra.she also has secondary cataracts forming.she is so very very special to all her family and we love her to bits

Garrech and Canagan said… - Lyn, Hello there and thank you for your interest. Unfortunately we aren't making much progress. He continues to bloat with ever increasing frequency. We went back last week to see the consultant who did some more tests and changed his diet. But it hasn't made much difference! We are due back for the third appointment this coming Monday where they will carry out an Endoscope and also try to take some more stomach tissue samples. So it's fingers crossed and hope but at the moment all I do is bang my head against a very imoveable brick wall
