Fun in the snow!

We don't have much snow, but on Sunday we got a little more anyway. The dogs enjoyed playing when the snow fall. Don't worry, there's no living animals hurt, only a rubber duck :-)

We have some winter...

The coldest part this winter is now. It´s almost everyday the temperature is about -25 to -30 C in the morning. We started a small business in noveber and we are on the roads a lot. We have seen some reindeers and lots of snow. Our first litter is 1 year on februari 27:th and they are som nice.We have lots of fun when we meet our youngsters and their familys. Porto Rio Setter: Best Champion of Portugal and Reserve of Best Veteran of Portugal 2008

Last weekend(14 02 2009) we had a a very important show.Was the Final of the Annual competition 'Champion of Champions' to decide the best (all breeds)Champion of Portugal 2008. And its was great for us and our dogs.

Happened in Lisbon on a luxury atmosphere of the 5 stars Ritz Four Seasons Hotel.

All right, Ursula, this is THE hare that was responsible for Glen almost winning the award for 'best hare course' of the week! Some people had been praising Glen for his obedience and excellent bonding. Little did they know...

NZ CH Amhurst Borrowed Heaven and sister Solasdas Copper Ruse win Puppy and Junior of 2008 at the New Zealand Irish Setter Club Awards

Much to our delight NZ CH Amhurst Borrowed Heaven (Kerry) and Solasdas Copper Ruse (Tara) have won puppy and junior of 2008 at the New Zealand Irish Setter Club awards. Unfortunately i do not have the results from Rheinberg but Jonola Dr Doolittle was BOB today and 3th in group!

Another 'Dog Bed'

Don't know if this is suitable for dogs, but they chose it anyway. What is meant to be a food dish for puppies turns out to be a perfect 'dog bed'. Or playground - pick one!

Pablo BOB-puppy in Helsinki puppy show 8.2.09

Pablo took part his first show in Helsinki all breeds puppy show with a great result, BOB. Jugde was Saija Juutilainen, Finland. This was a great start in his "career"!
