Training on Grouse, 6 & 7 March 2010

I had long dreamed of taking Glen training on Grouse... this dream finally came true.

Glen and I took part in the Training Weekend for Pointing Breeds organised by the Kennel Club in the Yorkshire Dales. We had an unforgettable two days. I had originally hoped to get a few days training in prior to the event but the Grouse further North had suffered severely due to the harsh winter so no prior training…

I went to have closer look and gazed in wonder, because it seemed to be on fire!!!

Then suddenly my dream was gone and a cool nose and a wet tongue kissed my cheeks and I woke up...…

Charlies new Friend

Despite my husbands determined "No more dogs" we received a call from Barbarra Rogers (ISRS) out of the blue telling of a male setter in our area looking for a new home and was we interested? Being the gulible person that I am I had to go and have a look at him, and needless to say Charlie now has a new friend. His name is Ronnie and he will be 3 in June. Having recently had a gastric by-pass I need to lay down during the day for a rest and guess who likes to join me - yes Charlie and Ronnie…

Ch. Fletcher of McBirdy at Cruft's

This year, we decided to enter our Fletcher (Sh.Ch. Sumaric Shadow of Mr. Jingles x Ch.I.B. Cheyenn of McBirdy) in the "Special Working Gundog" class.

Of course, we are really happy, but also we appreciated the high… Continue

Thanks

Thanks to everyone for their congratulations on our great day at Crufts. We were so surprised to get best bitch with Bliss after winning the same award with her Mother last year. Mummy Fern had to stay at home as she was in season. Sky & James winning their classes was just fantastic.
