Today I read this on a forum: I am a setter lover because I am feeding Barf.

How should I interpret this? That I am not a setter lover because I am feeding commercial dogfood?

Barf is not a brand, it is bones and raw food.

BARF Mimics the evolutionary diet of Dogs, (headline, in their advertising),
in my view, Barf is commercial food in sheeps clothing.. Pellets...
Barf use the same emotional techniques as most producers of complete food, example:
'Your're a bad dog owner if you do not use our product' etc.,
Pellets...
Producing complete food is big business, they will use any emotional blackmail to persuade you to buy their product...
Feed what suits your pocket and situation the best...
PELLETS to the lot of them...

I agree with Melinda, always say if your dog feels great and looks great just stay on the food you use. That's all.

I have always said - feed your dog what your dog does best on. If they do well on bones and raw, feed that. If they do well on dogfood, feed that. People who like to feel better than other people simply because they feed their dog a different food need to get themselves some perspective LOL
