Today Joy forgot all her manners!!!

No, that's not what she did - that photo is old and just added for illustration's sake. Here is what she did:

I was lazy today and on my own, so I did not cook for myself but just opened a tin with a dish you only have to warm up - Joy is normally very well behaved (inside the house that is ... ) and never puts her feet up on a table, stove or kitchen work suface - she tried when she was six months old, but we manage to stop that behaviour right then and there and she never tried again - until today (!) when I put that new smell (for her) in the pot: She put her feet on the (luckily!) still cold stove and brought her nose very close to the pot to sniff at the contents.

What do you think was in the pot that made our now two year old girl (nearly 2 1/2 wow!) forget her manners and follow curiosity ...?

Well done!! Congratulations!! Cilli con Carne it was!! And spicy hot stuff it what she likes :-)) - besides Pizza and Fondue (a Swiss cheese dish) and the obvious roasted chicken or leg of lamb ... mmmhh makes me hungry even in the morning ... and yes it's true, Susan, an opened tin is an attraction, but this one - wow!!!
Thank you all for participating and sharing my bit of fun!! When I take the spices out of the cabinet, I will in future time cook on the hotplate further to the back - for safety reasons ... I don't want roasted paws!

Haha, I was going to say she likes her Baked Beans on Toast;-)) Maybe Chilli con Carne smells like dog food???

Hi Susan, no I think it reminds her of Tabasco sauce - you know she liked the taste, even if it was hot :-))).
