Dear Sue
Thank you for caring. As I said to Ereni, now is not the time for a puppy because Rose is seriously ill. Hobson is also not well. If you saw the rest of the photo of Hobson you would be horrified. Unfortunately I have had to deal with a succession of terrible vets. Where we live it is extremely difficult to find a good vet. However, finally I have found one. He cannot save Rose though but I feel he can help Hobson. Rose and Hobson need me now more than ever.
Hi Sue! I just read your blog and I am so glad that I am not the only one who loves my Setter so much! Hugs to you and Chash. Barbara.

Hi Sue! I noticed a discussion post you had started back in 2010 on separation anxiety and was wondering how cash is getting on now and how he got over it? I have just got a 9 week old puppy and for the whole week we have had her she has cried at night time! She is in a wooden kennel in the garage attached to the house. We started putting her in her kennel 2 or 3 times a day for an hour each time to get her used to it but she still cries to get out at night time. I thought that after a week she would be getting used to it but it seems now. Any advice? Thanks! Bryony
Hi Sue, just reading about the blanket sucking, liked what you said about still having your other dogs blanket with you at night, just looked at your photos cash is a lovely boy. Ellen (".)
Hi Sue,
Thanks for responding so quickly! We're looking forward to getting our puppy from Gail. Our 13.5 yr old Riley passed away on Feb 10. It was devastating, still is. He was my baby. I know the puppy will help. We're getting a male. It's great to hear that Cash is doing so well and you're happy with Gail. I've spoken with her and emailed, she's been very informative, very nice and helpful. My husband and I spent a lot of time researching breeders, ending up with lots of dead ends(unreputable breeders). Save Our Setters said Anamacara was good. The breeder we got Riley from was outstanding, but he passed away. I enjoyed seeing the pictures of Cash, so handsome! If you don't mind, I may reach out with you with puppy questions, it's been a long time. We pick the puppy up May 9. Gail has the puppy pictures posted on their facebook page. Cash sounds like how my Riley was, couldn't ask for any better. Nice to meet you too!
