Thanks very much for your well wishes for Legolas. He certainly deserves to have it sorted this time, it's been going on for nearly a year and it can't be pleasant for him to be limping all the time...poor lad. Glad you liked the picture...it's those big brown eyes that get me every time :)
I tried them in lots of things even soft cheese his fav ! He took most of them but one of the anti biotics were pink in colour & I think harsh on his tummy, he threw up once shortly after them & it made him very wary. I even tried grinding them down with a pestal & mortar but it was as if he smelled it...little rascal. Any way they're all gone now & I just hope he won't need them anymore.
Yes my puppies are only on loan to their new families, I am devastated, its the not knowing that is the problem...and I have emailed all the contacts that Susan gave me. so far the common thread is that they can't go in until it has quietened down a little..I understand, that my head tells me, human life is more important than animals....but my heart tells me I want her back in the UK ASAP we will just have to wait and see...
Thanks Chantal and I am very pleased to meet you here on ES! ALways nice to keep in touch with setter lovers all over the world an exchange pictures and experiences!
sorry you lost MC you will know when the time is right
yes i am thinking of getting another one i have had dogs all my life but always just the one
somehow i think it is different with setters they seem to need company.sometimes i think shannon thinks im a dog she just wants to be with me all the time and then again i dont know if she whould accept another dog
thankyou Chantal for your comment on our afghans they are very different in almost every way from the IS and certainly fun, they all get along wonderfully.Rahni is 9months and has what is known as monkey face, this eventually goes when his adult coat starts to come, grooming is easy at the moment, it's much more work when the coat changes
Hi Chantal, YESSSSSSSS we identify greatly with the disappearing act!!!!! Every breeder told us never EVER EVER let them off lead in an unfenced area!!!!!!!!!! Both my wife and I love the Affies, but my heart belongs to the Irish. Elton and Morgan both melt me, just looking at them. Susan had swap cards as a kid on both the Irish and Afghans and loved them both. Now we have BOTH!!!!
