how funny. She is so funny to hide things like that and quite a imagination. That made me laugh. She must be so much fun. Tell Alan I think the birds were imported (not sure) but they are horrible. When we see a sparrow we say oh look because we don't see them anymore. They are a small bird brownish in colour... guess the same as yours. Molly will be able to go with you during summer to the cafe etc I guess. It is still hot here but not like it was and you can tell the days are getting shorter. What do you have for heating. we have a slow combustion heater which requires wood.

kooraburras dive into our pool. Have you heard them laugh. As I write this the african minors dozens of them are in the trees at the front making a hell of a noise while Molly sleeps on the lounge room floor.. I think we have the same sparrows as they have in the UK. When Neil comes home Molly will come to life.

Get some sleep so answer when u can. In the state of NSW where we are electricity is very expensive and getting worse. We usually go through 2 loads of wood each winter depends where we get it from. If I was on my own I would not bother as it has to be loaded each day. Logs on as we need it, burns all night. I just went down to the letter box to post a DVD gone 5 minutes if that. When I came back Molly comes to the door doing her bottom moving thing and tale going like a whip and barking, not sure how you would describe it. Our Mollys look very much alike.  Molly gets a little more active in the cooler weather. I think because I have been doing stuff on the computer and sitting too much she just likes to sit with me. Neil gets her more active. Do you have any photos of your other IS.

forgot... Molly puts her head up to the wind also especially when we go near the ocean. She also has been checking out the brush tail possum in the gum tree which is close to our deck. have to watch her because they have very sharp claws and got hurt her.

no chipmunks.. possums are quite cute but NOT. Also what we call ring tale possums which are smaller. Our first IS caught one of those and had it in her mouth. Also same IS had pet mouse when my son was smaller but we managed to release it.

Molly licks but no kisses. She does her thing like the others on this site.

The wood heater means stacking wood, loading it into the oven and has a long flue which goes outside. If I was on my own we could have gas or air conditioning...

Good about your job now you will have more time with Molly. Another cyclone in Darwin only cat 2.

The girl down at the vets gets down and literally gives Molly kisses but Molly just licks her and does her thing. I was reading some of the comments about naughty things they do and our Molly does not chew or anything like that. The last one chewed a really expensive boot of mine... not much good with only 1 shoe any many other things. She was always getting out and we receiving calls from people to come and get her. The one before much the same. I think I may have said they came from the same breeder and same lines.

Just got back from dinner out. Molly sitting on the lounge in her usual spot. Waits until I open the door then off she goes. Now she has her teddy. We will sit outside and have a drink and maybe she will settle down. I don't know what I will do about the de-sexing thing talk more about that later.

Hope the cyclone stops, daughter and 2 granddaughters live there now. I don't have much to do with  them though

Teddy is one with the speaker and fur, It has eyes etc. The inside is nearly coming out. Cyclones here can come in and last for hours then this one is going out to sea and then back again. When they do that they get bigger when they come back. Thanks for your comment about the daughter. You are right we do worry. I think the cyclone is doing its thing out to sea at the moment.

Molly is quite active today although it is still hot but not like before. It would look really pretty with the sun out and snow behind. They don't care about muddy feet our Molly comes into the room near the back door where we wipe her and she is getting to know now that is what happens. Once wipped she is off to the lounge to check what is happening in the world at the front of the house.

yes lounge room is like your living room I guess. Some new houses have home theatre rooms, lounge rumpus dining. I thought I might buy Molly a new toy. She doesn't have many toys and lost her ball so time for a new toy I think. Do you have problems with fleas and how often do you bath her. Also we will need to do something about her claws... very sharp and getting long..

Heart worm once per year when she has her others. Frontline every 2 weeks for ticks and it is supposed to kill fleas also. She has fleas at the moment I think I will wash her on the weekend with a flea wash. She also wears a flea and tick collar which lasts 2 months. in winter frontline once per month. There are other medications but one of them I cannot use because it is deadly to cats and it could be transmitted from Molly to them.

Hows this... A friend of mine thinks we should not have any animals now. I was telling her about the snake story with my big ginger cat and she said shame that would have been one less pet you would have had to worry about. I was shocked, anyway it takes all kinds. I think our Molly's are fun. I will take Molly down to the groomer and sort nails etc soon.

that is so sweet Sherry. She is spoilt and loved heaps.

heart worm injection I think. Prior to this method we had preventative each month and yearly blood tests. The ticks are so bad hence frontline and the collar.

no rabies in Australia. That is why when dogs come into Australia they are in guaranteen for 3 months. My spelling is awful... Talking about all of this I went and looked at her vaccination certificate. Protected against distemper hepatititus and Kennel Cough. When she had this injection she did get kennel cough which made her quite sick as a young pup. Now I will go and see if I can find on the heart worm thing... no but from memory it is an injection or maybe chewable but it lasts for 1 year and costs heaps when you have it done but if you spread the amount over 12 months much the same.

bit of useless info. I went to the city today over 1 hour bus ride. While in there I purchased a really nice punch of bush flowers. Usually I buy roses, lillies etc. Molly could not care less about those. When I put these flowers in the vase she decided to try and eat them. Outside she is a bit of a gardener. Hope she doesn't knock the vase down because it is one of my favourates. Molly was inside for over 5 hours with the door locked and no mess. Good girl

there are just Australian native flowers that grow on bushes. Not sure how to describe them. I think because they smell like the trees outside which she does some gardening sometimes. 77 degrees is about 25c? that is getting warm. It is still hot here but not like it was about 30 odd this weekend. It just gets sticky and humid.

I think Molly tries to hang on when inside with the door locked. She is fine when it is open just goes outside. I locked her in today because I was so far away and the guy that does the lawns was due to come and has left the side gate open a couple of times. Your Molly will be happy to be able to get out and explore and have walks again.
