Hello Catherine, good to see you are active in field trials!
Sorry to report my tries to chase an English translation failed, not available said the secretary of the NISK.
It does not surprise me that you see some resemblance in Norway. Keep up the good work and good luck,
Regards Henk.
Hi Catherine,
Oh nooooooooo, not raining again, wish it would rain here Catherine, poor garden is so dry...
Would love to be back in Romsey, miss it now... :((
Cashew's are my favourite nut apart from Andrew, ha ha...
Thanks for input, I am loving reading all the reasons given for choosing affixes, so very interesting... I must have missed the first time round, there are still so many more I would love to hear about...
Thank you for your positive feedback on my comment, I'm always hesitant to join debates like that because it almost always turns ugly for some people. It seems like dog owners are more protective of their dogs then of their kids when it comes to critique :)
It is so nice to see that you like to train your dogs and that you join ft-training sessions. It is a great way to spend a weekend :) I must say that after starting with ft-training with our dog we have met so many nice people all around Norway, and we have seen so much great nature!
Good luck with both ft-training and showing :)
Bonsoir Catherine,

Monique

Hello Catherine and thank you for the comment on my blog...did it feel great winning? Yes it did, but compared to the endless hours waiting around...I am not so certain. So I shall NOT make a habit out of showing! :-)
Hi there Catherine
Well the tank wasn't the problem, apparently, so have got to have another plumber to come and see, jobs worth thing, but it is going to cost me another call out, EeeeKkkkk..
The pet passport thing is not that complicated but that is only if you get the correct info, DEFRA was a great help, and some just can't get their heads around the fact that they aren't coming back soon, but they both have their passports now to all ready to go, they will be collected on the 14th, so am really looking forward to that, its such a shame, I do love them to bits, but have had them too long now, don't know how people run on two or three. Perhaps I am just getting too old...Dee and the gang
Hi there Catherine
Well I was OK up until this morning. The hot water tank is leaking somewhere?? and it is dripping on the stairs so damage all round especially to my bank balance...and this is a new house...
What with three 31/2 month old puppies running a muck everywhere now. I just want to go to bed and get up when it is all fixed, and they are gone...well two of them..
Will hopefully get some 'decent' pictures of the boy soon.
Hi Catherine
Thanks for the comment. I know Pat and Ray very well though I haven't been in touch with her for a few months. Sorry for moaning, just feeling a bit out of my depth as I am sure every other first time Setter puppy owner does. I just want me & Brier to be the best we can be but without neglecting my 5 year old rescue dog Toby and the Falconry which I think is going to have to stay on hold this season. Redtailed Hawks and puppies don't mix. I am very impressed with the amount Pat has achieved with Ray and don't know how she fits it all in. I think I have gone down the wrong route as far as a club/society is concerned. I have been trying to work through being on the IR&WSCGB working comity to keep something going but seem to be fighting a losing battle as there only seems to be one other person interested in working toward Field Trials and she lives in Suffolk. I may need to be selfish and join one of the field trial societies but which ever way I go it looks like I will still have to travel at least 200-300 miles each way to get to any events. If I only had the one dog and no other commitments but I don't. Ha Ho I could live in a City and have nothing to do but socialize and work and go mad with boredom.

Hello Catherine,
I'm glad you had a good birthday. We'll get our wee boy in the end of the month, so not long to go :-)
Best regards from Scotland,

Bonjour Catherine,
Alors pas trop le mal du pays ??? Un petit séjour en France prévu dans les prochains mois avec, qui sait, une participation aux expos pour tes beaux chiens ???

Thank you for birthday wishes, Catherine! Glad we have our birthday on the same day, funny isn't it. We celebrated just yesterday, and it was fun. I am a bit late as mostly, but let me wish you much happiness and long healthy years together with your dogs and families on your birthday.
All the best,
Marta and the rest
Hi there Catherine
I don't show as much as I use to these day's but couldn't agree with you more. Not ventured down the breeding side as such only Rudi ( Gimaroch power of love) sired a litter (way too much stress for me) but do love to follow breeding lines and diversity and think you have gorgeous dogs. I'm not sure but two girls, near neighbours, might have been bred by you I can't think of the couples name not called round for a cuddle (with the dogs!) for ages sired by Frank and Alison Meadows dog I think sweet girls and lovely couple too. My very first girl came from Diane Irwin and I really loved her size and shape was only a little thing but she worked all day and had a fantastic nose my cousins would take her out shooting she loved it. I've entered Setter and Pointer one of my favourite shows and I'm 99% sure I'll get there but with children and an poorly dog (Cyder 9) you can't always plan too far ahead.:-(
will look out for you too
regards

Hello Hello Catherine, we are very busy now: biting, jumping, running, eating, weeing, sleeping...shouting:O)
No time for other serious things.
She is a great puppy and I am getting tired and sleepy. But I am very happy.
How are you?
I sometimes feel like giving the pups names that will suit their behaviour later on... just to show they are not going to be sweet little angels... for the Ds I considered names like the 'Disappearing Devil' or 'Dont-you-dare' or 'Desperation' but finally decided against them - puppy buyers may not be too keen...;-)
