Ill start again...I have already written this once before, but when trying to attach an illustration...text and picture just went. Right then, back to the beginning. I work as a writer/illustrator and I suppose within the doggy world of Sweden I am mainly known for my monthly storys and illustrations in the Swedish Kennel Club magazine. These have also resulted in a couple of books. I write about life with my setters and pug and whatnot...
But then of course thats not all of it. I also work for a daily newspaper and bookcompanies and magazines etc. I think I will send this text off and then try to attach some pictures to another message. I dont want to risk loosing this one again!
Hello again Londa, I honestly tried to attach JPG`s to this space, but that seems impossible. Neither do I have a website that I can guide you to...and I may have put out indian princes on the share-photo-site, but I dont quite want to stick my illustrations there...I have also tried sticking drawings in a private message to you, but that did not work either...Im not all that good with computers. All I do is scan my illustrations and then send them off. If that does not work...well I have just about had it.
Hello once again Londa.
Did you get the illustrations via mail? They appeared to go away as they should. No setter there...Ill have to do some of those as well.
Ursula
Ursula - No, I'm sorry, I didn't receive your illustrations! I have a "spam filter" and since I don't have your true email address to put on a "whitelist" (always accepted), I guess they went into the netherworld!
If you would send me your real email address, I can put you on the whitelist because I really would like to see! Or, sometimes when I check the filter I see a subject line that I recognize and can pass that email on through to be read! so if you don't want to divulge email you could let me know in advance a distinctive subject line, like "Ursula's Work" or something that would identify it as coming from you.
And I note that you have really customized your Exclusively Setters homepage -what a great idea! I can't even get the background changed to "denim"!
Of course you can change the background Londa! dead easy! But it takes a bit of time so you almost think its not happened. Did you give up too soon?
Try again! Also adding the background-photo was dead-easy. Try again!
I keep my fingers crossed for the denim!
Londa, I just had a quick check as to how to change the colour to denim...you can do this! I swear! Just click on the colour you want and then on the save button. When you go further down, you can see where you add a photo to become part of your background. I am honestly no computer expert and if I can do it, so can you!
You can always scrap it and start a fresh if it goes all wrong.
Good luck Londa!
Hi Londa,
I am only involved in the showing end of things here in Ireland, but I do like to read about the working side also! The only place I can find results is in a magazine called Irish Shooters Digest(published in Sligo)contact e-mail is parkes@indigo.ie The Irish Red Setter Club website doesnt seem to update any results either for trials or for shows!!!!! But the club publishes a year book which has results for the previous season! Hope this helps a bit!

This may be a little better! Still trying to figure out how the "Page Appearance" thing works!
Hi there
as a new member of this site I thought that as you were on line at the same time as you I would just say ''Hi'' hope you don't mind, I find this talking on line thing new, I can't even get my pictures on my site as I am a non computer person but I am willing to try. I have two 'show' Irish and they only trip over the game they know that it is there but havn't got the faintest at to what they are supposed to do with it!!!
Yours Dee and the girls
Hi there again
We have had the first of the events, the C.C.winners. We were there , and one of only three bitches to get through to the second round, would have liked it if we had got ferther but to get that far was great. We will be trying to get to more of them but time and distance confines my movements. We will be going over to Ireland a few more times, because my older girl (Jas) only needs one more point (Green Star) for her Irish title, that last one seems so difficult. She like me isn't getting any younger.
All the best Dee and the girls
I have just been trying to reply, and I have given it 3 attempts, but have lost them at the last minuet, but the previous replies have been on page 10. there is a lot on there and it does get rather heated at times I don't think that any of us will agree, there are two different types but they do originate from the same stock and I think that this is being overlooked by some!!!!!!!!!!! still get your 10 pence worth in, it all makes for a good debate. Speak soon Dee and the girls
Hi Londa!
Many thanks for your kind comments. Unfortunately I don't live quite that close to he mountains - the pictures were taken on a short hoilday. But the mountains are only one hour's drive and today, a glorious sunny day, they can be seen from where we live.
Glen found there are more interesting things than cows... like mountain marmots... and he got himself bitten in the nose! Serve him right.
Love your picture of the 'two twins' - they look so intent and keen, nothing dull-witted about those two!!!
Sorry to learn about Bubba.
best wishes
Susan
"Miss" Londa:
I just visited your Website and I was amazed! The calendar may say "64, but the photo says: FAR LESS! What's your secret?
It's been a long time since our path's have crossed; but red dogs have a way of holding folks together.
I'm interested in learning more about the ISCA and how to get in touch with them.
Do you subscribe to the "Field"? Do you know Ken Ruff? Give me a shout at your earliest convenience.
If I can be of any help answering HORSE questions I would be happy to help out!

Hi Londa - Sorry for the delay in responding. Someone should be able to upload the UK pointer video to the Video section. If it is 15 minutes, it may take a while.
Dear Londa,
Thanks you very much for your nice words. Your dogs look wonderful too! Jim will go to a big show in Belgium tomorrow and I hope that he will be very succesful! Will keep you posted. And yes, the one with the pink collar is Jill (I call her Julie!)
Have a great day.
Best regards from Holland,
