Status : Stray from Magheracloone , Co Monaghan area .
Needs home / rescue offer : 16/4/16 to 21/4/16 , can be collected 21/4/16 to 23/4/16 .
THIS DOG IS IN MONAGHAN COUNTY COUNCIL DOG POUND NOT CARRICK DOG SHELTER . Offers of rehoming may be rang through to the kennels on (00353) 87 9634121 9am to 5pm Mon to Fri , 9am to 1pm Sat and Sun or emailed to carrickdogshelter@hotmail.com with name / telephone number and intended date of collection (which must be within the rehoming dates advised for each individual dog) or by calling in person to the pound .On receipt of a valid rehoming offer the dog will be posted as home pending . As a back up a second name will be taken for each home pending dog .The current rehoming fee payable to monaghan county council is €70 per dog which includes a years dog license (€20.00 in S.Ireland) / microchipping and €25.00 partial neuter refund voucher . Offers posted on facebook will not be valid . If not reclaimed / rehomed then this dog may be put to sleep . Offers of rehoming can be made prior to the rehoming dates .
If a dog is being rehomed to N.I please advise for information regarding the dog license , the issuing of a microchip number and possible reduction of council rehoming fee .

Important Notice :
When reclaiming or rehoming a dog please be advised that you will be required to produce original photo ID (passport / driving license etc) and proof of address ( a utility bill dated within the past 3 months ) .
* To be compliant with the Microchipping of Dogs Regulations 2015
The photo / proof of address must match the person present , therefore it is not acceptable for another person to collect a dog/s on your behalf .
Monaghan dog pound is open Mon to Fri 11am to 5pm (closed 1pm – 2pm ) and 11am to 1pm Saturday , closed Sunday .
Please note that you will require an appointment time for rehomings / reclaims – if you go to the pound without an appointment or are late you cannot be guaranteed to be served if sufficient staff / volunteers are not available .
Appointment times are available at 11am , 12 midday , 2pm , 3pm and 4pm Mon to Fri and 11am and 12 midday on Saturdays .
Monaghan dog pound does not have card facility , payment can only be accepted by cash or euro cheque .
Monaghan county council dog pound is located in Lisdoonan , Carrickmacross , Co Monaghan A81 YW71 .
Update 19/4/16 : No offer to date , needs home / rescue offer by 4pm 21/4/16 to be safe .

Thanks to ES member Dorothy Park for rescuing this boy. She is a wonderful lady and always finds loving homes for the Irish Setters that she saves.
