Hello Jennie, I was wondering if you were happy to tell me what you use in your conditioning spray. I do my very best to keep my Red Kids looking lovely but lack some experience, especially with their ears looking nice. Mine are pets, so any help would be so appreciated. Take care Dianne, Flame, Ruby and Poppy x

Hi Anna, I have never found the need to use a conditiioner on Riley and Cassie...I just use my shampoo I make which is just Pure liquid soap with no chemicals and white vineger a 50/50 mix I have also used apple cider vinegar in their rinse....I think if I needed anything to untangle feathering I would just use a tiny amount of my own (pantene) but to be honest I comb the vinegar through.....I believe a good healthy coat starts from the inside out if they are healthy dogs fed on a healthy diet it will show in their coat without the need of sprays etc...mine are also pets....I know I get shot down in flames with some of the things I use but each to their own...hope that helps you.Jen.x

Hello Jennie, can I please bother you again? What is the dosage rate you give your setters of apple cider vinegar and how often? Flame is 32kg and Ruby and Poppy are 21kgs, maybe weight doesn't matter I'm not sure. I have used about a teaspoon in the past twice a day on there food. Any help would be appreciated. Dianne and Irish.

Hi Dianne..That sounds fine to me.....Riley is 37kg and Cassie 34kg and I give about the same.....I also put in their drinking water but have to start very small amount until they get used to it...I put it in their veggies it also helps to keep it fresh as I make a batch to last a few days....you can not over dose so you can give as much as you like...also to yourself in some honey water great for all sorts of things..

Hi Jennie, Lois suggested I ask you about raw feeding...I have three adults on natural instinct very happily. Just got a puppy who is now 13wks and weighs 12kgs. He was eating very well on royal canine and was planning on changing to raw at some point but he has now stopped eating the RC and so obviously wants the raw the other boys are having! I have got the puppy version already but my question is this.....on the NI site it says to change over gradually but I thought dried and raw digest at different times so this is a bad thing? I have just fed him NI puppy this am and am worried that's wrong too....help! lol!
