Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

It is now 4 weeks since Victor , the Irish Setter, vanished from his owners in Beaminster, Dorset. Someone out there must know what happened to him.
If you know where he is and can get him back to either his owners or us please pm me and I will arrange a contact in complete confidence.
There is no way a dog of Victor's size can just disappear without trace. He may have been stolen, he may have been involved in an accident.
If you know anything at all whether it be good or bad, please just get in touch and let us all know. Thanks to you all for sharing all the posts. We will keep trying to find him. Marita Bott

indeed... how can he be disappeared.. we are pulling our hair out for this boy.. even if there was a car accident or something bad, even if in a small road in the countryside, still.. someone should pass by.. how a dog of this size can disappear and nobody notice him /his body  in a public road.. considering all posters and alerts.. i cant find peace on this .. I pray for Victor to travel safe and make his voice and appear..  our deep though with the owners is  a hearthbreaking time for them..

No good news on this, he is still missing ( nearly 4 months now ). The last thoughts are that he is with Travelers / fairground. Not sure why this is being concentrated on but must presume there is a very good reason.‎Martin Clunes alias Doc Martin has offered a reward and this hit the media which highlighted the cause, but this was about 6 weeks ago now. Anyone in the UK who thinks they have seen Victor the first clue they could look for is a black pigment spot on his tongue, although this is not unique it is possibly a clue.
