JUST BRINGING YOU SOME AUSTRALIAN COLOUR AND SUNSHINE

Seeing as many of you are suffering from"snow blindness," I thought I would send some photographs, taken last night, of our gorgeous night sky, as well as some cheery, sunny days. Not that I am trying to gloat or anything!!!!! but the scene is set - warm, balmy night, sitting until late on the verandah, chilled Australian wine in hand, yummy nibblies, Irish Setters quietly snoozling nearby........anyone for a top-up???

More snow came during the night - and it was just beautiful this morning ploughing my way across the fields on our morning dogwalk. Maybe now I have deserved the treat Leen had in store: a warm fire and a glass of (mulled) wine - but who will send me the belgian chocolates???

Hmm, bit early in the morning for wine I guess:-(

Well, I actually am pleased with the snow we have and looking forward to a little more that is said to come tonight. Pretty cold outside with about minus 5 C, but we don't mind at all :-)) Doggies enjoy playing in the garden, and however I don't let them out but for an hour at a time only, they are always happy to get the opportunity to have a run around the house - much more than usual. All I want is a little sunshine to be able to take lovely sunny-snowy photos of my dogs chasing each other or birdies in the snow :-)) But certainly lovely photos Myra :-))

Amazing photos Myra!

In Poland minus 15 C actually... so would love to switch the places with you:)

We stood for a long time admiring that same sunset the other night.  Stunning!  The whole sky was glowing.  Niamh gave it plenty of appreciative "ooooo's" and "ahhhhhh's."  Unfortunately for her, we have been unable to reproduce the "bink ty" again on demand (pink sky for those who don't speak "Niamh").
