About Me:

I am 30 years old and live in Lyons, Colorado, USA. When I was five I took our family's Australian shepherd to kindergarten for show and tell and told them that I was going to show dogs when I "grew up" (and I didn't even really know what a dog show was then!) When I was in elementary school, I always wanted to be able to train a guide dog for my grandmother as she gradually went blind.

I have absolutely adored Irish setters from the time I went to my first dog show when I was thirteen. I finally was able to get my very own show dog when I was nineteen; a very accomplished one at that, and my life has been so richly blessed by sharing it with these amazing red dogs. They are my best friends, heart, soul. I can't imagine living without them, and being able to compete with them in a sport such as conformation is only secondary to the joy they give in the littlest every day happenstance, because of their undying, unconditional love.
