Sorry I can't remember your face but I exactly remember your Greta :) Her lines reminded me of Robin, I had a son of Robin's first litter Ch Berboss Highlander, he was the greatest dog I've ever met&loved...gone too soon...you can read about him on my website if you like.
Congrats on Greta's success winning BOB & 2nd in Group at Debrecen Night Show! Well done :)

Hi Marta. That's Duke with his Christmas duck in this picture - that was a year ago. We added Abby back then, so now he's 2 and she's 1. It's like having toddlers. They rough-house, chase each other all over the place, and then plop fall over, together. They are fixed - too many of their siblings are out there breeding already. In the U.S. Irish setters got overbred. These are setters no. 3 and 4 for us. Maggie died in 2005 at 13; Rosie died in 1991 at 15. I love your dogs' long hair - in the U.S., they somehow bred some afghan into the show dogs and their hair is too frizzy (Maggie was a show dog; the rest are hunting stock). Yours are beautiful.

HI Marta - We just had our first snowfall of the year, about four inches. Abby (age 1) couldn't stand it - HAD to go run in it when I took her out on the lead. I lost the handle, and off she went probably a mile down the stream that runs through our backyard. I had to go get Duke (age 2) to track her back - slipped and slid about 20 meters down a steep hill (what the heck, it was snow). Duke was barking for her, and suddenly there was this red blur, and whoosh she went past us, then whoosh she went in the other direction past us, out of sight again, then he barked again, and whoosh she was back -and THIS time I stepped on her lead and got her. Then I had to climb back up the hill with both of them and walk a half-mile back while they proceeded to tangle themselves and me in their leads. AUGHGHGH!
I think I need to get Abby obedience training. We worked harder on Duke when he was an "only child." But ... hard for them to resist going and playing in the snow. -- Mary

Yes, Ivy is worth every penny...as are the other three. But it does make you realise that there is some truth to the saying: "Money in one way and xxxx out the other...":-)

Well Marta, yes they are great horses and I love them all. I always wanted one when I was younger but it was difficult enough to get my parents to let me have a dog!
So now it is my daughter doing the riding and I do the paying...and the petting and all that as well. :-)
