About Me:: Absolutely dedicated to the breed, along with English Setters.
Born in England, I moved to Australia as a child, and in my teens started importing Irish Setters from Wendover Kennels, and English Setters from Suntop Kennels. My latest Irish imports in 2004, 2009 and another in 2013 are all from the beautiful Copper's Kennel in Sweden.
I am a qualified Championship Judge for All Gundogs and the Non Sporting Group, and an Open Show Judge for all Toys, Terriers and Hounds.
My judging takes me all over the world, something I enjoy immensely.

Hello! :-) Thanks for your comment! Gonna upload some head shots of Odin within some minutes, taken by her breeder.
I am just in to some virus that gives me running nose, coughing all night long, etc... Just horrible. But I still managed to handle Danka to best bitch last Sunday :-)) and on Monday she did a special hunting test for young dogs (created by the pointer club for young pointers but we have a good time with them, so why not trying to take their tests also). Otherwise life is just good. Still looking forward to meet you some day :) maybe I should fly over and take a look at your spring time :-)))

Hi Myra - Thanks for your message. I worked well over 80 hours last week - 14-15 hour days in the office, worked most of an all-nighter one night, etc. - so I really haven't done much recently except work, sleep, eat, and dog walks. My only source of news has been if the TV in the breakroom at work has news on when I am making tea. I am in Texas but I think the fires you speak of are out in California. We do have several members from California but I think most of the ones I am aware of live in northern California. Hope things are well with you down under...

hello! how is life over there? we enjoy a late indian summer but from next week on it is going to be cold. i don't mind and my swedish devil loves cold weather :) wonder why!

uh, don't mention, Danka also turns already 3 in january. time flies soooo fast!!! let your pups be born on the 30th Dec, that's my birthday :-)

Hi Myra, I missed the climate, strange enough. But in Brisbane it could be very steamy hot. Too hot to do anything and I like to sport etc. Though, I really love Australia.

Hi Myra, I heard more people saying that Perth has got a much nicer climat than Brisbane. At the moment in Holland the weather is absolutely terrible. Wind, rain, hail.Constant wet dogs. It's no fun at the moment. Perth sounds wonderfull right now. Gr. Ali

I got a 3rd in a lovely Limmit class at Crufts in '06 can't remember what I got at the I.S.B.C. but its just nice being at Cruft. I am going to I.S.B.C. this comeing Saturday so I will be keeping my fingers crossed for that. I have had a run as the 'bridesmade' hopeing to get the bride spot again soon!!!!

Hi there Myra. Haven't long got back from the show at the weekend, we got a 3rd in Post Grad with my youngster (qualifying her for Crufts next year) was pleased about that, it takes the pressure off for the rest of the year. I also got a 3rd in Open Bitch with my older girl, Obviously we would have liked two 1sts but hey 3rds are quite good at a breed show, We are becoming 'professional' bridesmaids!

Hi there Myra. we have been having somewhat of a heat wave here at the moment, 14 degrees there hasn't been any snow hear, but saying that it is due for the weekend in some parts, where I used to live we used to have drifts of up to 6 feet, the dogs loved it. I loved it we got completely snowed in. I don't suppose you have seen much show in your part of the world????No shows this weekend, but next week we have our Scottish Champ Show and then it all starts in earnest. I have just checked and yes I was correct, a free colour page add next year. Congratulations!!!! I am sitting watching the snow fall in great big lumps It looks beautiful but it is rather cold I bet you don't miss that?? I will take the girls out later and maybe they will come back 'red and white setters' I may not like it but they do. I don't think that the yearbook has gone out yet it is only when you collect it at the show that you get it early, another good reason for coming to the show.....All the best Dee and the girls

Well I have never had anything like that, your picture is wonderful, the two of them on point. We do point but probably in two different directions and the game is most likely in between!!! or they have just tripped over the present. I dare say that you had a real problem with your carrying your bags when you went back home last time you came, they would have had a field day if they searched your baggage, this strange person taking all these doggy books back!!!!! it is the easiest way of doing things, the post isn't really that good, hope your book gets to you soon, Its Jas's birthday today she is 7 time really flies doesn't it, all too soon.

Hi there It is a beautiful picture it is always difficult to get someone to take a good picture taken of your dog, Monika took an absolutely gorgeous picture of my Jasmin and I came across it on her site but it is now off I have it on my faviorets but don't know how to transfer it to anything else oh well perhaps she will be at more shows and take another candid picture of them both........Dee

Thank you for those kind words and yes I have had a go a t photo-shop myself on one of my pictures (not on the site) and yes when you have done it they tend to jump at you!!!!!!!!! I will have to take some more, because some of those pictures are of my old girl who died nearly 3years ago with a rare blood disorder at the age of 41/2 (Tam) I just love looking at her pictures when she was fit and healthy.
