I live in Bratislava, near the Danube.
My love, my almost everything was my devil Gordonxxl. He was a big clown with a huge warm heart and a tender soul.
He died 19th October,2008.
He suffered from hip dysplasia-HD/D.
Very painful and horrible death.
I miss him so much
Now I have a witch Isis (Kabaret Girl form the Noble Friends).
Hi Ereni, Thank you very much for your nice comment. It takes me some time to answer because I am always studying sites of persons who writes me. I did not want to understand what you write on your blog and I did not see the dates. I lost my dog almost two years ago. I could exist only one week without dog. Now I have very, very loved Jonaszek. We adore him. Why you do not think about your kennel.
Your life is your life. Sorry if I write you too much, but iIt is so sad for me.
Greetings from Ewa and Jonaszek
Ďakujeme:-)))

Hi Ereni, Thank you very much ! Happy St Nicholas Day to you too! Gordon looks beautiful! This is the best way of remembering him, looking great and being happy!
Kindest regards,
Catherine
thanks a lot!!! i cant send you one as i am in switzerland right now and no proper pictures here of odin and danka. but we wish you all the best!!! write more when i am back home, i promise!
How interesting Reni !!!!!. No, we don't celebrate the 6th. December. We only have Christmas Day as the main Xmas celebration. The same here though with Father Xmas visiting the children (after their supposedly asleep), on Xmas Eve, then on Xmas Day all families get together for their Xmas lunch, and celebrations. Tess & Megg send you a Xmas wish and Megg sends you this pic. of her dressing up.
gt pic, nice to hear or rather see ..
Ive had trouble on my site ive been unable to get into my page so ive not done any messages for a while. Hope you and your pal are fit and well.~Im due to go the hospical on wednesday i went a few weeks ago ive to see a different specialist this time a nerve man so we will see what he has to say.
Back from Stockholm and totally worn out!
Thank you for the St. Nicolas-greeting! I had totally forgotten about that! I remember this when I was a child in Germany...in Sweden there is St. Lucia instead...a girl with candles in her hair and plenty of singing. Thats the 18th or 19th of december. You see, I am not even certain WHEN...!
Hi Reni,
The website looks very nice in red. I used to have it in purple and then changed it again - will probably change it again sometime soon ;-)) That's the great thing about those sites...
Hope you're enjoying the pre-christmas time in Bratislava. Is it all beautifully decorated? And do you have any snow?
Greetings from Edinburgh,
Nicole
Hi Reni,
Thank you for your nice comments :-))) How was it in Vienna? Would love to go there sometime. I've only ever managed as far as Salzburg. I hope you're not working too hard!! Christmas holidays coming up soon :-)
Love from Scotland,
Nicole
Hi Ereni, You are so right about Riley looking so serious. He is a happy, happy boy until I bring out my camera and then he sits and poses so serious. I have to sneak up to him to get candid shots.
So nice looking at your beautiful site. Blessings, Mary w/ rescued Riley O'Grady & Golden Sasha
Thanks Reni, We're having a nice sunny day today, although quite windy. This weekend is expected to be hot. Barbeque weather I think !!!!!!!.
Take care,
Lynn & 'girls'
Hello Reni, Both of my current dogs are "rescue" dogs. Most of my dogs have come from rescue situations in the past. I love the fact that I have saved their lives by bringing them into my home.I always encourage my friends to think to rescue a dog rather than to buy one. I do not know what it is like in your area but here in the States we have shelters full of unwanted dogs who are usually euthanized if they are not adopted. Such a sad end to these beautiful creatures. Blessings, Mary
Yes, having a pet here in the States is very expensive also. Currently we are caring for a cat that is taking medicine every day and has to eat a special prescription food that is very pricey.
It is sad to see so many animals without homes at the same time as I have friends who cannot afford to give them a home. I know I would have more dogs if I could afford tham.
If you could find a job where you could work around dogs would be wonderful. Perhaps there is schooling that would train you while being paid. I know that is what you are hoping to do, work around these wonderful creatures! Blessings, Mary
Hi, thank you for a comment of my baby girl Rubin. She is so sweet, and she can be a real monster if she wants :-(. I read about you and your dog, i am so sorry of your lost. I know that sad feeling, my first dog Peggie has a displasion too. She was 13,5years my best friend, and i was now 2years without any dog becasuse of her lost. I needed a time to go throw. I hope, you will feeling any better soon, and have another lovely dog to love and charish :-).
Hi Ereni!
Thanks for comment.
The dogs really enjoyed the snow but it´s gone already.Keeping fingers crossed for more.
Love your Christmas card, you both looking great.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all
Annika
At your country is 6.10am? Here is 13.15am :-), i didn't know it is so many hours differrence. Yes, you are right, many people don't know the difference between our two country, but we sure do, and that is the most important :-)
Hi Reni, Have just had some friends over for a Xmas celebration. Was nice. The girls were really good. No begging at the table!!!!!. It's now 12.09 am. Time for bed, I think.
Just wanted to say 'hi' to you. These girls are sounds asleep now. Will write in the next day or so. Hope all is well.
You are welcome Reni. I'm sure you do miss Gordon so much, especially now, at Xmas time. Such a beautiful boy and he will be with you and in your heart forever.
i know. and danka was the best bitch there anyway :-) and i don't care, was just so angry yesterday, sat there for hours since 13.00 and irish setters got judged at 22.00... i was tired and unhappy and then these results. also the eurowinner award "gala" was just nothing... and the judging was just so bad, in every gundog breed. oh well... tomorrow we drive to my parents to spend x-mas there. i cleaned the flat as they come with us back to budapest, my niece's birthday is on 27th, she turns 5 years old :-)))
Hi Ereni.Very sorry for your Gordon. We lived the same conditions with my Naz at the beginning of this summer.İt is very difficult to be without them.
At least their good memories are with us forever.Ela
Thanks Reni, Hope you had a nice Xmas. Ours was fine. Quiet & quite sad because of Jo but she got through it. Hard to see everyone around you happy and celebrating Xmas when your heart is breaking. Girls are happy and had a nice time. They love it when lots of people come to visit. They're certain everyone comes to see only them (lol). Will write soon.
Take care,
Lynn
i hope there is someone out there who can help with finding you some sort of job in a kennel.. I would have loved to travel and work with dogs when i was younger but it wasnt to be . I waited all the years i was cant have one until i finished work i didnt finish until i had well just before the boys came along. Being a teacher brings its own rewards. My neighbours daughter teached shes same age as my boys well Ashley anyhow they were at school today . Anyhow they are children with problems. At least you have had a dog , so hopefully that job will be around the corner.
Thank you Reni for your comment :-) If you ever want a ball like that I can send you one from Scotland :-)) Have a wonderful last day of the year tomorrow and all the best for a happy and successful New Year 2009!!
Lots of love from Scotland,
Nicole & Busby
Love the card I am too stupid to be able to do anything like that, perhaps next year
HAVE A HAPPY HOGMANAY
from all here in Scotland we will be raising a glass of goo Scottish nectar (Whiskey) at 'our' midnight
