How long have you owned Irish Setters?: I bought my first Irish at 1987
About Me:: I live in the middle of Sweden out on the countryside, with a lot of woods around me. I am married but have no children (except the dogs ofcourse). I started my kennel at Mars 2005 and my kennelname is Cherry Bloom´s. I have only had two litters, but maybe it will be some more in the future.Except the dogs my hobbies is my garden and my 120 orchids.

you are an expert, yes, it's apple!
Old dogs make me moved. My Bajka is only 11.5. She has very first grey hair, but she like sleep much more than earlier. I let her do almost everything she like, but sometimes she croses borders. But she is my beloved old Bajusia, the worst and the most loved setter in world.

:-) I remember it being -15 °C in Switzerland once when I was a child but I don't think I've experienced a -25 °C before. I expect you don't actually notice the difference anymore - it's just very cold!! How many hours of daylight do you get in winter where you live?
Hope you got a nice warm tea to warm you up when you got back in...

Yes, it's similar over here in Scotland. Winters are very dark but summers excellent with only about 2 hours of total dark during the night! I love the light conditions in winter here because you can get such beautiful photographs if you're there at the right time.

Timon och jag har haft våra duster under åren men jag älskar honom mest av alla och blir så glad när nå´n annan ser så fin han är.
Det är väl så med den första hunden att man har extra känslor.

this photos are from setters i rescued. ive picked them from local shelters and poppy was hangging out in streets in the south of portugal. i usually take them to my home and try to find them nice homes.

Vi har ingen snö alls nu. Blden är tagen häromdagen minns inte riktigt.
Satt och sorterade lite bland mina bilden, och hittade så klart massor som jag gillade. Men ni blir nog ganska uttråkade ;)

Det är möjligt att livet är innehållsrikt...men det var INGEN rolig situation att hitta hundarna i hästhagen. Det kunde så lätt ha gått rejält snett...men det löste sig, som tur är!

För oss här nere i södern är det extra roligt att höra Ursula berätta!!
Jag minns en otroligt levande berättelse om när Ursula och en av hennes hundar gjode någon slags prov, minns inte vad det var men minns berättelsen om militärutstyrlsen, och ser Ursula framför mig berättande med hela kroppen! Oj vad vi skrattade.......
