I live in the middle of Sweden out on the countryside, with a lot of woods around me. I am married but have no children (except the dogs ofcourse). I started my kennel at Mars 2005 and my kennelname is Cherry Bloom´s. I have only had two litters, but maybe it will be some more in the future.Except the dogs my hobbies is my garden and my 120 orchids.
Yes, you're right ;-)) We've got so many photos at home I sometimes wonder what to do with them all but then I always go and have a look at them, you can just never get enough :-))
Thank you for the first welcome on the Setter site.
Photo's will follow when I'm a little bit more accustomed with this site.
By the way, a great site.
Hej Kristina
Vilka fina bilder du satt in!
hi kristina thanks for your comments regarding layla.she really loves the snow .weve had three setters over the years and she is the only one that has laid in it,its lovely to see her having a good time especially with her been blind
I don't think we'll ever get the same amount as you have but we're already very happy with the little we got :-)) Will post some photos soon :-))
Greetings from Edinburgh,
Nicole
Hi Kristina
thanks! Traffic not works on last Saturday- The train can't drive because there must to detonate avalanches. All mountain pass was closed. But cars could drive slowly. No TV, no radio! We feel us like in the last century :-) At present we have 1.50m of snow, waiting for spring (ha ha)
All the best Esther
Thank you so much for nice words about my Jente and Ruudi. They are much loved and they truly are wonderful dogs to have. I always keep my self informed about Swedish setters and i love your Charlie, would really like to come to see all of you this summer
Hi Kristina, thankyou for your comments on my photo of Abbi and Mojo, they are always together...it will be a suprise for him when a new puppy joins the family!!! I am enjoying looking at your photos very much..they are all having so much fun!! which is what having setters is all about, !!...Best wishes...Sammi
Kram Jenny
Kristina,
your dogs and photos are so great I can't manage enjoy it and copy them to my album - photos, or comment - dogs, particularly your Wiktor.
Year ago I lost Pielgrzym, my beloved dog, the cutest and caressest on the world.
I grew up in home with dogs - only males, they were mostly german shepherds or mixbred. I cant imagine my life without dogs but years ago I thaught that girls are easier, safer, simpler than boys.
After life with Pielgrzym a saw that boy is a boy,
so now I miss male dog and sometimes here I find my Pielgrzym.
Sometimes (freguently) this is your Wiktor, so you must split him with me a bit :))))Please:)))
Thank you very much.I'm sure you know, how they are cute in the first
months.I still miss my Naz,but another story with Bella begins.
By the way,we didn't see any snow this year in İstanbul...See you soon.Ela
Hello Kristina,
Thank you for your answer on the photo of Queenie.
I also had preferred to see her closer to the the couple but it were people she had never met.
It was taken with the marriage of a collegea of me.
She is such a lovely and enthousiatic girl that I was a little bit afraid that she would jump on the bride's dress.
I was already happy that the little bouquet of flowers she was wearing in her collar were given to the bride without accident.
I see you have also been taking loads of fantastic photographs of the dogs having a wonderful time in the deep deep snow. Hope spring comes someday soon!
Thanks for the comments on my photos. Lily is my sweetheart and the one that makes me laugh. Every day is a good day for her. We have snow and more snow here too. I am ready for spring!

Hej Kristina!
Kram Annika
Hi Kristina, thankyou for your comments on my blog. I am so sorry to hear of your dreadful experience. We had some blood tests carried out on Lola last week & there is no damage to the liver & kidneys, thank goodness. She still has a slight cough & a blister inside her flew where she was bitten. Our vet has warned us that she may suffer some tissue damage. Kind Regards Karen
Hi Kristina,
If he would do so (training to stack) naturally in the Show-ring, I would be very, very happy!;0)) But this scallywag in the ring is often very funny, jaunty, or sometimes only bored! ;0(
Now, I can see, how he will do in the ring next saturday, after many, many outdoor-training!;0)))
wish you a nice day with your red lovers
Gini, Rodin and Axel (+Joey)
Hi Kristina,
thank you for your so nice compliments!;0) Now, he is Hip-graded A2/B1 and he has full and correct dentition. And he has a very good, soft, funny, fine and honest character.
To breed with him, I want to wait, till he is two years, because I think, still he is a little bit "immature";0)))
But I dont know, if some breeder wants to get an american stud-dog for their females ... ;0)
We will see ...
Hi Kristina
thank you for your comments on my photos. YES.. please, come to visit us in Engadin. Your dogs will be happy there! :-)
I think it is a little paradiese for dogs, and also for humens .. I never could live without my mountains!
All the best, Esther
I have thought the same thing about Chase. Maybe it is time. However, the new mommie came and got them both Sunday night. She is a vet, so they will be in good hands. I'm sad to see them go, actually. I know the new mom will take very good care of them and do what must be done when the time comes. Now I can't wait to see what kind of setter I get to foster next!
Thanks for your comment on the blogpost about my two puppys. The are puppy's of my second litter. The are now 15 weeks and I'll hope the future will bring a lot good things for them.
Thank you for the kind comment on the photo. I'm new to here, but am in awe of the site, totally addictive, too much to read, not enough time! Take care x
Thank you so much.. I will try and put a Forum on the site and we can all discuss this new problem there are many pedigrees that will be (but hopefully not) affected by this, we don't know the mode of inheritance yet, but 'think' that it may be recessive, so it needs looking at, my girl is night blind I would like to think that we can stop others from inheriting this..
Thank you again for your support.
