Yes both the girls are going although Saffy looks like a minor puppy at the moment, no coat...Jas is in Veteran...doesn't seem like yesterday that you brought her up here for me...a lot of water under the bridge..... I remember seeing your wee boy, he did seem nervous when I saw him, best to leave him until he gains his confidence, he has many years ahead of him....when did you move??? again it only seems a couple of months ago that you said that you had moved for the first time....
Only 5 hours....its 7 for me but hey that is so much better, as you say, than 10.
Have you seen the Forum on Crufts.... have a look and see if you can think of anything...

Wow, I think that I must have been asleep when all that happened!!!!! Yes I did the same with Saffy although I bet Ellie didn't poo on the carpet though...;0((
You should have come and had a drink with everyone, (well some) It made the day seem so much better. I hope that it happens again next year, took a lot of organisation on Barbara's part, well done her...are you going to ISAE??? it snowed all day Sunday here, and we had the journey from hell on the way home, hail coming down in sheets. Ah well you will see us at both of them...I will also be at Border Union, they are the only ones that I have entered. I don't know about any other shows because I don't get a paper to see when the other shows are coming up, there isn't a paper shop here just a supermarket and they don't order papers..I find it very strange to be so close to a show...you will know what I mean, it is only 10-15min. journey, and it's a Championship show. Have to ask you what this ruptus aorta really meens? Cant find the Swedish name for it. Is it when the aorta is breaking, and all blood comes out in the chest on the dog?Is it related to any kind of heart disease. Because I had a setter some years ago who died of something like inner bleeding in her chest and she had also Aortastenosis, so if this is related to eech other, I dont now..
What do yo think?

Yes this sounds like ruptured aorta, but we are not sure it was because a post mortem wasn´t done. Because of her heartcondition we replaced her with a family because we thought it was stressful for her racing and hunting with other dogs and so on. This family was very sad so they didn´t do this, but according to the veterinarian, it was blood filled breast which also affected the lungs and breathing. so probably we talk about the same condition.
I still feel sad thinking about her. She was only three years old when she died and had bad hips, aortastenosis and on top of that she had the L7S1syndrom who is when there is osteoarthritis between the last lumbar and first caudal vertebrae. A defect that we often see in German sheperds. (hope I spell this right).If you leave me your email adress I will gladly send you more information about her bloodlines.

That's right, being with them on a daily basis watching them enjoy the surroundings is by far and aaway the best part of having them. I get so much joy out of watching my own like this. I've enjoyed the showing aspects as well, but get much more out of just being with them.
