About Me:: My husband and I live near Trenton, Ontario. I am a dog/cat groomer, and my husband is a draftsman. Darby is currently in training for agility. I grew up with dogs, and we had an Irish setter when I was little.

Lovely girl:-) I saw pictures of her on the New Rossmore list. I am also an owner of a Red&White girl "Sorley Red Nokomis". She's 15 month old now and we live in Switzerland. And with us live also 3 Red Setter ladies.

Hi Angie,
Darby is so cuter...My Cailin is 8 months old already....and a bundle of energy...It has been raining all day today and she keeps wanting to go out to play...I just don't feel like playing in the rain and the other dogs don't like going out in it....
I am a groomer too.....I also do cats......I work out of my home so that is great. Only thing is my dogs are so spoiled because I am here all the time. But I love working for myself, that way I can get out to dog shows when ever I want...
Well, keep in touch...will be fun to watch our girls grow up...

Over the years I have learned that Setters don't mind living in small houses:-)) We also have a mutural agreement, we don't count each others "toys" :-)))

I think to them they are x-lg dog pillows on legs:-) I have 3 couches and still never much room for us to sit and watch TV.....often you can find hubby sitting on the edge and 2 IRWS streched out to the max not one offering him more room:-)))))

Question for you - You and I both know these dogs are hunting dogs - why is it yours and mine have little green tennis balls coming from their months and they know where they are all the time - must be they come from the same place in New Jersey what do you think

Hi Angie, It's Mary from settersL, I've enjoyed looking at your site! I have a friend who owns a red & white, he was a hyper, busy puppy but now is a great dog. My second setter was named Darbee (smile) she was a wonderful girl.
