How many Irish Setters do you have?: 3 Our sweetest Dutch en German champion Lancelot van de Grasbroekerhof "Darcy" (27 march 2008 from Enjoy and Fairy-Tale vd Grasbroekerhof) and Marvellous Red van de Grasbroekerhof "Bingley" (10 februari 2009 Enjoy vd Grasbroekerhof and Fairhaven Engla) and our little lady German youth champion Passion van de Grasbroekerhof "Jane" (20 april 2010 Dubliner Tiger Woods & Glamour Girl van de Grasbroekerhof)......and lastbut not least our Black and Tan teckel "Dashwood" Rascal's Home Go Hear-Hear (2 maart 2010)
How long have you owned Irish Setters?: 25 years, since 1984. it started with my parents. They become a irish setter without pedigree. He was only 3,5 years when he died of a bad heartcondition. We then thought we should go to a breeder with healthy dogs....and we got Nagy Nemes of the Hunters Home from Piet and Marga Roks and then it all started....
About Me:: A several irish setters before:

Hi there, I am at the moment waiting for a litter from my young girl, and then I will when the puppies are 6 months be back at the shows, I will be bringing my new boy, I hope, out to compete.

Hi there Susan, I would probably agree. She (Ros) was one of the sweetest animals that you could ever meet. A really special dog, not just my first setter, but perhaps one of those very special animals.

Well if they take after their mother they will definitely have the ''Irish'' character. Saffy just loves life, very joyful and exuberant. Only a few more days to go. She is doing fine, but she is getting rally big, and I am with you as far as good looking babies are concerned, that, I think, is what we strive for, when breeding...Well I know that I do, (better than the ones that you have already, although that is going to be difficult, as I have already got the most wonderful dogs already, well I think so!!!!) Hoi Susan,

Volgens mij hebben we even bij elkaar gestaan in Arnhem op de show. Mijn puppies zijn inderdaad gegroeid als kool. Onze honden zijn dus nog familie van elkaar. Quinn is op de ierse setter clubmatch beste pup geworden. Ik ben erg trots op ze. Het was een reis Zweden meer dan waard.

We zullen elkaar vast wel meer gaan tegen komen op de shows.

Hallo Susan, sorry omdat ik zo laat iets van me laat horen, maar we waren op vakantie. Alles prima met je en de hondjes. Met ons ook alles OK. We hadden een beetje een werkvakantie, maar in de Ardennen is het zo mooi, zelfs al moet je wat werken, toch blijf je met vakantie. Woody heeft heel mooie puppies bij The Queenstones. Ga vanavond nog eens kijken. Het was Kate haar eerste nest en het is zo'n goede moeder. Puppies maken het ook heel goed, ze zijn nu 4,5 week. Je moet maar eens op de site van Willy en Vera kijken. Ook in de Saturnii kennel is hij vader geworden van 10 pups, maar die hebben we nog niet terug gezien.

Hoi Susan,
kan me nog herinneren dat jij samen met Annelies, Suzan en Lydia de regio begon, Wij waren toen der tijd actief met regio het Zuiden.
Ach de tijd gaat zo vlug.Vroeger kwam je altijd met Grandeur Gable en nu zien we je ook weer iets vaker op de show. Je bent inderdaad een heel tijdje weggeweest.
Hopelijk zien en spreken we ons op een van de volgende show's eens.

Hey hallo Susan,
We zijn nog steeds niet ten volle bekomen van ons resultaat. We zijn er wel heel erg blij mee, een jonge hond van nog geen drie jaar en dan open klasse winnen en reserve beste reu, je kan er maar van dromen.
Vond het ook fijn dat er zo een gemoedelijke sfeer heerste, concurrentie is er altijd maar je moet ook sportief blijven niet waar?
Hoop ons snel terug te zien, we doen Dortmund, Leuven/Bleiswijk/Amsterdam / Wijchen en Tienen nog dit jaar, dan nemen we twee maand stop vermoed ik...je weet maar nooit, die microbe kruipt maar voort!

Het zijn ook erg leuke pups.
Het zijn er maar 3 maar het is wel genieten na 2 nesten van 10 per nest.
Akka de moeder is geweldig en vindt allemaal wel best.
Nog een weekje en dan gaat het ventje alweer weg

A friend used to keep them a few years ago, apparently the Queen Mother used to breed them, (a bit of useless information) Are they yours??? I used to keep a lot of chickens and Muscovy ducks the fox got some and I ended up giving them to a friend, a couple are still alive today, and this was many years ago that they went to her. I miss my hens. you are very lucky to be able to have them...if they are yours...

Hi Susan,
as I remember my Faza was naughtier at his age. He only jumps a lot and just from time to time becomes a little bit crazy. But he is also very sweet and likes to cuddle. He was very calm during the night, I woke him up at 8:30 and I think he would sleep longer :)

I love colour of your hair, I always think about it - if I some day change colour of mines - it will be red. But in fact irish setter's colour is the best. No hairdresser can prepare that kind of balejage;)))

thanks Susan. doggies are well, but me, my whole face is swollen because of some stupid tooth... today it was my second time at the dentist, but they still cannot remove it, so much inflammation all around. i have pain like hell. nice b-day present, right? :-(
