I'm hoping to have a red setter soon. I havent owned one before but saw them at crufts and now I want to find out as much as possible before buying one.

    Welcome to the ES site Jeremy. Good to be informed before taking a setter... very briefly you have to be prepared to be owned, be really fit as they need a lot of exercises, have a good sense of humour and you will know the really meaning of love!!!!!
