About Me:
My father grew up next door to an Irish Setter breeder and passed his love for the Irish on to us at a very young age. We had two Setters growing up -- Shannon and Molly -- and my folks had a third Setter -- another Shannon -- after I left home. I adopted Tilly (Chantilly Maiden) on my own as a three year old and she easily became the first true love of my life. Tilly lived to be nearly 17. My husband and I now have a 1 year old pup, Jilly (Jillian of Chantilly's Everlasting Light) who despite her innocent appearance is a boisterous, flighty, headstrong, and impulsive little minx. In other words, she’s a puppy! And she is perfect.

    a real cutie. How old now? And your previous IS living to nearly 17 amazing. Ours was 15 that was Sharla and poor Cherie only nearly 10 but now we have our Molly and she is about 19 months a real gem. Such a great companion.

    Thanks, Eunice.  Jilly is 1 now.  Tilly (her predecessor) lived to 16.5 years.  Our previous Setters usually lived to 13 or so.  Guess we've been pretty lucky.  They are the absolute best!
