About Me:
Moved to Australia 3 years ago, bringing our Irish, Finn, with us but he has since died aged 8. In the U.K. we owned an Irish, an English and a Gordon Setter all at once and life was hilarious but being the U.K. muddy. Since then we owned 2 setters but one at a time. We have now become proud owners of Derry one of Myra Thomas Rhodes lupelinas and once again life is hilarious.

Of course he is trouble, he was bred by MYRA. Stories are legend about his Amhurst Relative, Kerry, Amhurst Borrowed Heaven, she is trouble on four legs. Character plus and there is never a dull moment in the house with Kerry around we all love her to bits and little Derry has than devil look about him. I will be happy to collect him from the airport when you are ready to send :). Take care JO AND THE REDHEADS. XXX

    Hi Norma,
The problem we have here is we live on a converted farm complex and whereas there are fields galore and a forest for him to run around once he has all his jabs, we have a tiny garden that is not fenced off so each time he is out I have him on the lead.

Kerry Is so cute btw :o)

Hi Norma...Lucky you...Derry is beautiful......I also have a Amhurst relation but from a Nome litter....Finnegan....who is now just over 2 years and such a delight......Finn is a angel, not like the little trouble maker (kerry) in the North Island..;-)))))

Thanks Norma. I know there is Pape in UK, in fact the man that constructed the shotgun is a Pape from UK. I know a lot of the history and hope to find out more. My privat mail is IRWS@animail.net NB! there is more about my dogs on my,Linn Cecilie Moen`s profile.

Hello Norma. Are you on facebook? I have now got lot of information about the Pape family in GB. Willim Rochester Pape won FT in GB with English Pointers in the 1850th. He lived in Newcastle on Tyne and was born in Amble 1831. There is a man from Denmark with tons of information. Margaret Sierakowski helped with info. about WR Pape.
  • Thor Erik Pape

And I love your photos of a very nice dog, lovely. Is it your child?
  • Thor Erik Pape

Hello Norma. I have grandchildren at the same age. I dont see them everyday but I hope that one of them, Emely, come soon to ride one of my horses. If you search facebook, use my name or TOBOGGAN`S IRWS. There is a lot more pictures on my youngest daughters profile, Linn Cecilie Moen. She is 19 years and has taken most of the photos. She is now starting to educate herself in photo journalistic.

We're at the park pretty much every night around 6ish. Trying to train "The Red Terror" at the moment (aka Aneira). I finally have a girl who will work her butt off for food!!!! Makes training her a dream!

Many thanks, Norma! The canister goes back to England tomorrow, so busy going to Quarantine again clearing all the documentation. Fairly complicated process each way!

Hope that boy is behaving himself!

Hi Norma, thankyou!  We're already having lots of fun and cuddles.  At the moment I'm trying to get her used to a collar and lead and not freaking out with all the new sounds and smells in the park :)   We'd love to meet up with you and Derry once Nula has conquered walking in a straight line and not tangling me up in the lead, lol.   Lots of training ahead I think......;)
