Hi Robert, Before I had Ginger I had another girl. She passed away at the age of 16 years and seven months and never had any severe health problems. Just like you I thought a new arrival would would sort out my heartache. It worked for the first two years but after that my Ginger started seizing and from day one she was clustering. Epilepsy caused her death and it is not so easy to say goodbye to your dog at such a young age. By the way, I watched some of your video's. I liked the sled dog video!

Joy was very slim too, right from the beginning (and also had to be fed seperately as a puppy) and all through teenage but then my husband added some extras to the food and finally she had a bit more on her ribs. With Joy I'm very happy that she is not at the lower limit anymore - we were there for such a long time!! - but with female dogs it's a bit different; they tend to fast for a few weeks after the false pregnancy time and then it's good to have some reserve:-)).
