I am a life long Irish Setter owner dating back to 1978 when I got my first pup.
I now have two brothers who are the chaos of my life. My dogs are my pets only. In my mind, there is not a more beautiful, regal, stunning or athletic ( please add further adjectives ) dog.

    Hi Rob. I see the one you mean in front of the woodpile... they look to be about the same age in that pic as Clancy was in mine... They are beautiful. Love the one with their noses up in the snow and the one with Keba sitting on the dock... Who is the one in your pic 1113091543? reminds me of our Killian with the white face...

    yeah, I think I know what you mean... Our previous setters, Murphy and Killian, were with us when the kids were young. We loved them dearly and miss them, but life was crazy busy then and much of our focus waon the kids and thier activities. I have a special bond with Clancy. The kids are away at school. He is a real piece of work and does everything with us. Sackett sure does remind me of Killian in her later years.
