About Me:
I have had six Irish Setters since 1974, almost continuously. Three have been puppies and three have been mature Setters when we adopted them, including one from the lost dogs' home and another from a couple who decided that a Setter wasn't for them. Our current Setter, Flame, is almost 11 years of age. She was a successful showdog prior to her retirement. We have had her for 7 years.

    Hi John, thank you for your comment on our photos. Please, please excuse any typing errors!! I at present only have an I Phone Hmmmm, not a lot of Internet coverage where I now live!!! Frustrating. Yes you are so right, the twighlight years are wonderful enjoy them with your Flame. The two girls I have run me off my feet, I look forward to having a setter from a pup one day.
