About Me:
I'm hoping to have a red setter soon. I havent owned one before but saw them at crufts and now I want to find out as much as possible before buying one.

    Hi Jeremy,

    Glad to be your friend. We had a setter as a child and other breeds through my childhood but none were like the setter. Since then I have had 2 of my own (at different times) sadly they are now both dead and I am looking for another. They are wonderful companions - a mind of their own - very intelligent, when they want to be!! Show offs with noblw dignity. I showed at Crufts when I was 13 and may be hope to do so again some 40 + years later. May be we'll meet sometime.. I can be contacted on majormouse@hotmail.co.uk

    Hi Jeremy - long time no hear - my fault. I have not been on the site for a long time. Have you got your pup yet? I have mine now and he is 3 years old - how time flies. I waited a long time for him as I wanted an IS from a reputable breeder and no health problems. Hopefully I achieved this. He chose me (as did my last 2 boys) and from his barks/woofs as a pup he named himself Jake. Not a name I would have thought of but hey it suits him. Did you go to Crufts this year? We did and last year too and hopefully next year. All the best. Sally
