About Me:
I have lived and showed dogs successfully in England with many Champions and moved to the USA in 2004 showing my English dogs and their children with great success.
I bought my first Irish Setter in 1970 from Joan Anderson (Andana); she became the mother of CH. Jason of Andana of Clonageera. She was returned to Joan as we were to be off to Singapore. Upon our return I bought 2 more setters, one of which becomes CH. Bella Rosa and the other given to us was to be CH. Jason of Andana of Clonageera.

We were so lucky to have these dogs; they become our foundation stock and have produced the Clonageera we know today. Our other bitch that we bought at the same time as Bella Rosa was called Bridie of Andana and her daughter became th Dam of Jim Smith's (Reddins) CH. Sorrell of Andana (having produced a great many champions over the years).

Now, in California with a man that I met twenty-five years ago when he bought a dog from our kennel in England, he had been working in Yeovil, England at Westlands helicopters for a couple of years. We lost touch until I was judging at Crufts, 2003. Both of us were divorced, so we look-up our friendship once again. I moved over here in 2004 with 3 dogs and the showing and the breeding restart.
Pure Geniuse by Clonageera (Jason) is used by Laureen Strelliof from Canada; we bought a puppy from her, who becomes Am. Ch. Kenerin Rockmyworld Clonageera (Caelen). I was talked into showing Jason at the San Joaquin Show in 2005; this is our first show in the USA and Jason went B.O.B., and Caelen takes Best Puppy. Guess What, I was hooked, I wanted an American Champion to add to all of the past dog wins.
I had know idea on how many people that would want use Jason. He finished his title quickly, with Caelen right behind him. We now have another 2 year old Am. Ch. Witchbrooke Cassini who has just finished his title at San Joaquin that had started this all. Also, we have three lovely girls by Jason, who all are pointed.

And, I have also ended up as the President of the Irish Setter Club of the Pacific, Inc. (San Francisco), California.
This is amazing considering that I had come here to retire.

    Hello Patricia,

Clonageera is such famous Kennel Name ! I didn't know you were located in USA now. Your Irish setters are English line, but you live in San Francisco, so do you mix your line with American dogs ? and you groom your dogs in the American style ?

It will be very interesting for me if I could get your opinion about Irish setters in America. I guess it's not only a question of fashionable grooming between American line and English. The type, the bone, the angulation, the all structure is quite different.

    Thanks, best regards.
