About Me:
Dream.
It started long, long time ago, when as a 10 years old girl I saw a lady walking in the park with the most wonderful creature in the world. Although my mothers said that that was only a beautiful dog, that creature was phenomenal to me. Long, a little waveing hair with colour I've never seen before on any other dog, dignified steps he made, and those eyes ... – calm, full of wisdome and so deep that I was afraid that I would sink in them. The very next day, instead of playing with other kids after school, I run to the library (people didn't even dream about internet those days), to check what kind of dog I saw in the park the day before. Since that moment I knew with whom by my side I want to spend the rest of my life and explore the world – Irish Red Setter - he become a subiect of my sigh. But life did not pamper us a lot and my family didn't have any chance to have any amimal in the house, bigger than budgerigar or hamster. That's why I had to wait for my first Irish Setter 28 years. Quite a lot , but it was worth of waiting !!!

Hania.

It was rainy May of 2007. My life turned into unexpected direction. I decided to catch up my dreams that I left at the attic for better times. I spent hours on internet watching photos and reading everyting possible about Irish Setters. I called the Polish Kennel Club to ask about available litters, and finally I made a decision – I'm calling Arisland.

I was happy as a child when the breeder told me that there are still 2 bitches waiting for new homes. I asked her thousand questions (sorry about that Jadwiga ;)) but she was very patient. I wasn't sure if I have enough energy left to handle the dog, so I decided to make a reservation on girl. From that moment I started to cross the numbers in the calendar hanging in the kichten wall.

June 30th 2007 - magic moment came. After 6 hours of driving, finally I arrived to Arisland. There were 2 lovely girls waiting. Of course I didn't know which one to choose, I was too excited :) Acctually I didn't choose any of them. It was Hania who chose me. She fell in love with my shoe-lace and kept me company during my talk with Jadwiga, while the other girl looked at me and went away to play in the other part of the garden, totally uninterested in my person :) After all formality that had to be done and after another 6 hours in the car, finally I could sit down on my sofa with little red girl on my knees, to feel the indescribable happiness that you can feel when your childhood dream comes through. HELLO DOLLY z Arislandu became a member of my own family. At this same moment I made a decision to have my own kennel – I knew that there will be more than one red-head in my home ... ;)
