About Me:
I rescued Sonny 5 days ago from an English Setter rescue group. This is my first time owning a Setter, and I am completely smitten with him. He does come with lots of baggage and I am trying to help him unpack. I hope to find help and advice and share stories with others

    Welcome to ES, Debra and Sonny. I have owned the English Setter breed for almost 25 years. They are an extremely intelligent breed, extremely intuitive and they thrive when they receive Unconditional Love. It is unlikely Sonny will ever forget his abuse but when he knows that he is safe and he knows you will always love him and you will never abandon him, his own personality will shine through again.
