About Me:
We are both keen hunters, Field Trial judges with international experience and breed Irish Setters with strong scandinavian influence. Recently we 'adopted' an IRWS lady with fantastic hunting skill and entered the circle of IRWS breeders as well.
In 2009 I also became FCI show judge for pointers and setters. Thanks for all support on that long way !

    Tja, ob Glen dafür die Fasane aufgeben würde??? Ich weiss nicht...;-)

    Mir kommt einfach der korrekte Ausdruck nicht in den Sinn für das Federvieh auf Englisch. Sobald ich den Lichtblitz habe, geb' ich Bescheid... in der Zwischenzeit Frohe Weihnachten und weiterhin Viel Spass mit der Dampfwalze;-))

    I see that you have much experience with the field setters. I have an adopted year old red setter. He is a very good dog, and has learned commands quickly. We are not planning on hunting with him. I wanted to know if you have any tips on training him to obey commands outside. You know he gets really distracted by small creatures. lol

    Lovely reading Christine that your setters have a strong hunting drive. I'm a complete novice when it comes to any experience or knowledge of the breed. I admired the photo of your Irish looking for his game, just great. I have three Irish and one of my girls has very strong hunting, she is always flushing out my African Guinea Fowl. Can you recommend any books that would give me more knowledge on the way they are meant to hunt. Please excuse my ignorance but as I was growing up I think I only took notice of there beautiful nature and stunning looks. Take care.
