I first saw an irish setter on holiday with my parents when I was 16. It was love at first sight and still is. I vowed I was going to have one as soon as I had a home of my own and thats just what I did aged just 18, Rusty was just 4 months old and was my best friend, he lived to 16. The reds have shared my life contstantly ever since. In 2000/2 I was lucky to welcome 2 wonderful Cataluna boys into my life (seems like just yesterday) and just recently I have 2 Kerryfair babies. My reds are my world if they are happy then I am happy, at home in the garden, walking in the rain, on holiday by the sea or cuddled up by the fire together. I cant imagine life without a setter, specially a red boy. People will often say to me 'why dont you try another breed?' but I know thats not for me. Once you have lived with an Irish Setter nothing else could ever be quite as remarkable or lovely. I just love kissing behind those soft ears!

Thank you Julie. Knowing he would eventually need a lot of grooming, I started early. It has really paid off; he lets me do anything to his feet, while he sleeps! Mike
Hi Julie, how are you? And how are all the boys doing? Finlay is well and will be 5 years old in two weeks time, where does the time go?

Not sure of another way other than the search engine. I haven't used the search function much. Sorry I couldn't be of more help here.
