Sooo cute! A special bed for a special pup!

She is a special baby - she even has a little white goatee if you look closely - she s a very sweet baby and her brother is also a very sweet baby - we are loving them and enjoying their puppyhood.

I do see the goatee... so cute. I wish we could have gone through puppy stage with our Red, but we adopted him three weeks ago. He is one, but is also very good and sweet.

Are yours the show or field type of irish setters?

Comment by Lynne Van Luven on January 7, 2012 at 10:18pm

They are  basically the show but the mother of my puppies goes back to a field dog.  I also have one other

show and one field - the fields don t have as much hair and are a little smaller - I think the show dogs

are calmer also - not quite as high spirited if I can put it that way - just love them all.

That bed that they have - I got from a friend who has a little shop - someone gave it to her for her dog and her dog didn t use it so I was the happy recipient of that cute little bed - it is actually a dog bed and the name on it

is Wild Animal Plush Pet beds in case anyone wants to get one - it is soooo cute and with a puppy or

even any ofmy dogs on it - it becmes that much cuter!

Lynne,

Your right, they are all wonderful and beautiful dogs! Our setter is the field type. He weighs about 52 lbs, and a year old. He is pretty calm, but doesn't like new situations. Perhaps this is because he is a rescue. I don't know anything about his background. The vet just kept saying he is very calm for his breed. Perhaps, he has a little show dog in him. ;)
