I am convinced that Irish Setters have some goat's genes.... my dare devil definitively frighten us to death here, heart attacks we had too ... but Mister Dare Devil quickly learnt that, in control or not of his balance, this experience is no longer to be repeated, for the sake of his masters... well, owners would be more correct as he was the boss.

OMG how much did you panic when you saw that!

A lot John!!!! so much panic I couldn't speak, which was probably the best. I rushed inside to grab him, and made sure he would never ever repeat it. Do not remember who took the picture, but at least it kept him still for a while. MC was our first setter, but far from my first dog though ... nevertheless, I could never imagine how resourceful and incredible Irish setters are. A lot of ignorance from our side, and love is not always paired with wisdom!!!
How are Charlie and his mates doing?

I will have nightmares about this and I bet you did too.

I saw you had lost MC just last year, its heartbreaking I know and you never forget their individuality despite them all being the same somehow. Thank goodness for the memories pictures give us. Julie x

David, fortunately for us our MC was a perfect athlete, with an incredible balance and could almost compete with goats.... unbelievable! When he saw our faces, he looked at us like saying... no anthropomorphism here please, we dogs, know very well our possibilities and limits... :-) he always had the last word anyway!
