Claire don't forget we never take any picture on a windy rainy day ... and on a beach, at least here, cold wind is no fun at all ... I guess you have to be Irish to cope with it. My dogs just love it though, whatever the weather and the more wind the better, even very cold wind. They seem not to notice the rain, but they do not like the heat ... and heat for my setters means hardly 20 degrees Celsius!!!! Watching them enjoying it so much really warm my heart but I still need my jacket on if not several jackets.

Lovely photo, where's the beach?

Thanks Deborah, this is outside Coleraine (N.I.), one big long beach called Downhill beach at one end, Banone beach at the other end, and in between at least 7 miles of pure joy and delight for Irish setters!!!!

Hi Rita,

Only sporadicaly on my computer these days, so I just read about Rosco. Poor wee thing, I hope he is feeling much better now? Please give him plenty of special cuddles from me. I hope I will be able to see him soon as I believe we are not too far away from each other. Where are you based in beautiful Donegal? Since James has already introduced to you my particularities :-)  :-), (All Ireland is mine :-) ... just slightly invasive  :-) if convenient it will be nice to meet, share beautiful Ireland and have our beloved 4 legged friends player.

In between, I wish you the best of luck with Rosco and all the very best

Thank you Chantal, I'll pass on the cuddles to Rosco. We are based in Downings, Co. Donegal. I must stick a thread up in the forum and maybe we could arrange a setter meet up.
