Hi again! You´re right. It was a Caispern dog called Caispern Vilette with Shushana. Lovely. Those two prefix are very similar... Abbey, the girl on the photo is Discovery´s A Little Bit Of Love "Abbey". She has Goldings, Thendara and Withersdale and far behind a lot of Clonageera in her pedigree. You´re very welcome to have a look at our website www.kenneldiscovery.se !! You´re absolutly right, dogs last longer if they are not "ready" in body at the age of one. One of my dogs ´won BOB several times at the kennelclub at the age of ten. Your other girl where does she come from? have a nice weekend! / Jenny
Kirkavagh have breed many many beautiful dogs, Kalaglow is one of my favourites. I admire their work. Are Mayfred your affix? Today the sun is here and visit us, so I´m going out! / Jenny
Hello there Dee, yes the horses are mine...or should I say they are my daughters. She is the rider and I am the sponsor. :-) We have got four at the moment but will have to sell at least one of the foals that is now 3. My daughter has started vet school and its all rather too much for her. Unfortunatly I have become too much of a coward for riding (and certainly always have been for jumping). So I am no great help other than when it comes to paying...but I do love them! They are all very kind and friendly and I will hate to see any of them go.
Dogs are so much easier...
Oh, How Wonderful - Thanks for the great comments, Dee.
I didn't think they were running the competition anymore - much to everyone's dismay.Maybe they reinstated it after membership pressure. One of ours was in the running a few years ago, but that was as close as we came.
I have been checking the mail quickly each morning hoping the book was there. Just love the year books and looking at everyone's adverts.
I guess I will have at least a week or two to still wait.

I will cross my fingers that everything works out with your and Saffys puppyplans! Have you found her boyfriend yet? That could be tricky sometimes..You have many great breeders who are doing a very good work. The sun was here for a short stay, today we have rain... / Jenny
Oh, Goodie - great news, Dee about the advert.
I collected my book when I was there two years ago, as well as our Labrador Year Book from Crufts. Couldn't wait to see them. Then there was the Cruft's catalogue etc etc, and baggage was very heavy indeed! I must be the only one to GO with excess baggage, let alone returning with it always as well.

Hello there Dee, as for the differance between horses and dogs, I get so upset about the selling of horses. It seems to be the way that you train, compete and (if you are not just using the horse as a hack) move on to other horses with (hopefully) more potential. At least most dogs get to stay in the same home and with the same owner for all of their lives. I remember my daughters trainer (show-jumping) asked me if I was selling my dog now that she had become an obedience champion. Its a totally differant world...
And yes, I have become far more of a chicken in my old age...the older I get...
Although I never learned to ride like my daughter. It was just a matter of getting on the horse and making it go :-)
No finer details.
Alexandra is enjoying vet-school, but its hard work and certainly needs a huge admount of dedication! Not like me, fiddling about in art-school in the 60's and 70's.
Then it was all about inspiration and (in hind-sight) very little hard work.
Well done on qualifying for Crufts.
I did not get as Keith had been ill and we have taken over two more businesses so its a bit hectic at the moment till everything settles down.
I need to get some pictures on the site but I am learning my way round. Also I need to get some more up to date pictures of the boys and girls.
Rosie is has had a sore on her paw and Merlin keeps licking it for her bless him. When I told him off and to leave it alone he just turned round and started licking Mulligans face instead.
I can't believe Jaz and Merlin are Seven this week. Seems like only yesterday he was struggling up the garden with Stephen's great big boot in his mouth that was bigger than him.
Are you going to Birminghanm National next month.

I need to get my head down now and get Rosie qualified.
I have seen the drawings on your page Dee, but never realised who had done them.
Excelent!
Still nearly another 5 years to go before my daughter will become a qualified vet, and so far the vet-bills have all been for the horses and hardly worth mentioning when it comes to dogs and cats. I will be happy when she pays her own way...eventually. Ill be rolling in money once the horses are paid for by her :-)
At least thats how I imagine it...
I got her some special ham, she loves ham, And don't worry about the mistake I am always making them but I read it as ''her''. she didn't have anything to open unfortunately but we did talk to one of her brothers and one of her sisters, we went to see her sister last week, it's nice for her to have someone who is as gentle as she is, Saffy (the brat) is too much of a thug for her now. Thank you for her birthday greetings. Dee and the girls
Hi Dee,
Thanks a lot for your all messages, on my videos and also your lovely comment about my sweet baby Girly "Lilly".
I am very happy and very proud with her ;-)))))))
She is 1 year old tomorow.
Greetings, Charlotte.
In the photo of the two girls, they are actually running across the field together - not on point! The photo is taken with a super camera and lens, and it has captured them in complete unison galloping together. An absolutely brilliant shot! Michael Bouette is the photographer, and I cannot sing his praises enough.
