Hiya Lynn, Tess and Meggs are real "beauts", ace setters. I'm sure you have as much fun with them as our two. We decided to get the two together initially to calm Sean the Irish down, how wrong we were, Sean is so laid back, a very well behaved Irish, whereas Robbie the Gordon, absolute mustard... Maybe we need an English to settle him down. Robbie was here just a week before Sean and I'm sure he thinks its his baby, so so good together though, best mates, Sean is very stubborn, he does things slowly, and Robbie is like a mountain goat and so fast and agile, Love em to bits..... All the best, Bri Sue..

I know where you are coming from there, I trim Saffy's ears every now and then just to keep them out of her food. But when they are long they do get to be a wee bit difficult to get the food out of, I have found her sucking on the end of them from time to time. Dee and the girls

Hi Lynn. We do not doing harm to birds. Well educated setter does not harm pheasants. We decided to start on a Spring Field Trial, so now we are now training in fields with wild pheasants and partridges. But we only shoot photos.
Please let us know about news.
Greetings from us

Lynn, I am very surprised about Tess. I thought that every setter has in genes chase after birds and animals, especially speediness, retrieving, pointing. But I forgot that Tess is a real lady. My boy Jonas is rather like Megg, we are trying to train him but it is really difficult. He likes search and chase after birds, hares and roes, but he does not harm them. We are now Champions in Poland and the next year want to start Champions in Czech Republic, Hungary and maybe in Italy. In some countries for to become Champion you need to be a working dog (to have Field Trial diploma).
Interesting, how it is organized in Australia.
Greetings from Ewa and Jonas

Hi Lynn, yes I see your pictures are just like mine! My guys are definitely playing, but Timmys only interest in "stuffies" is to run around crazy with them, or play tug.... Malachy sleeps with them, carries them around etc, He loves his toys. I enjoy watching them. When Timmy 'wins' the toy, he simply keeps dangling it in front of Malachy until the game starts up again. It's easy to amuse me hahaha
