Welcome from Down Under, Linda!
I was born in Kent, and remember going to Whitstable.
Long way from home now, but I still adore England.
Cheers,
Myra.

Hapy New Year Linda, welcome aboard! Yes this is a very addictve site & I could spend hours & hours on it looking at everyone's piccies & reading their news.....however I have to fight my two teenage sons for the computer so don't get as long as I'd like.
We had a bit of rotten end to 2008 as we lost 2 Irish within a fortnight which was shocking & very tough to get through.
We lost Withersdale Streets Ahea via Clannad 'Katie', she was by my C. Heat on the Street ex Withersdale Chanterelle; she was 11 years old.
Then we lost 'Flame' Delsanto New Flame for Clannad: Sh Ch Konakela Zagar ex Sh Ch Delsanto Lucinda, she would have been 13 on 1st January but unfortunately faded away before then.
Both girls were our 'stay at home' stars as both preferred the couch to the showring, they have left a big vacuum in our household.
Congratulations on your win @ SEISC, super start to the year for you. Hope to see you @ MISS Champ show in February.

Hi Linda,

It was a tearful day at MISS Ch Show on Saturday. We went hoping to win the PGB Class but little did we know it was to be a special day.
It was a great result for Maureen – we are sure she was looking down at us.
A great day.

I am sorry I did not get time to chat on Saturday.Lovely photo of your puppy.

Kind regards
Colin & Pamela

Hi there Linda
Wasn't sure who the others were taken by, who are the head studies by...Their parents that is not the photos...they look like a dog I used to know....didn't the dogs have beautiful heads in those days, well at least yours did, Can't wait to see the rest. Only have one or two of my oldies from the 70's not too good at keeping photos from the mice in the past....Where were you based when you started showing??
All the best Dee and the girls

Hi there Linda
I thought so...Not by the dog that I thought, but by his son. I used Harley on my second bitch, I just adore his head, I think that he was the best thing since sliced bread, I think I was about the second or third person to use him, when he was fairly young. The bitch puppy that I kept beat the pants of everything at the time, unfortunately she died before her second birthday, of bloat, which I presume she took after her mother, and grandmother. In the early 80's I came out of setters because I just couldn't face loosing any more wonderful dogs to this dreadful complaint. Still my young girl hasn't bloated, unfortunately Jas has...so I am back to square one, Rita has some lovely dogs I will have to look out for you at the shows. Where are you next?? anything up this end of the country???
Dee and the girls
Can't wait to see more pictures of those wonderful old heads....

When did you start showing, because we were in South London in the 70/80's so we may have competed against each other then. I lived in New Malden, in Surrey from the late 60's but didn't get my first setter until 1971 and its been (as they say) down hill from there on, the money that is, the dogs have just got better and better, had the Akitas for a time but still came back to my first love, as it were...
Will speak later, have a granddaughter hanging on my arm trying to draw, so can't type that well...Dee and the girls

Happy Easter too.

Hello Linda, thank you for your nice comment on my page. I am glad you enjoyed my Crufts photos, I must say I was also impressed by your young Scarletti male. He is a very handsome boy. Will be looking forward to see him maybe later this year! All the best, Kasia
