I'm sorry to read that Gibson has suffered bloat, I hope he recovers soon.
I am writing as you may not know of the current request for DNA to be submitted from dogs who have suffered bloat. Cathryn Mellersh at the Animal Health Trust is applying for funding to start genetic research into bloat, would you please submit a DNA sample from Gibson, this link is from the ISAE website and tells you what to do, http://www.isae.co.uk/PDF/Setter%20Shot%202009%20Health%20pages%20for%20web-site.pdf pan down to DNA archiving, it's really important!
The boys are great together. Clancy is still a bit rough at times but Rory seems to love the rough "boys games". Clancy suddendly looks very grown up and sensible!
The boys are doing really well. Rory has decided that he is the "boss". Clancy just lays down and lets him jump all over him, he seems to have endless patience! Play is getting less noisy, thankfully. There is much less of the silly moaning noises from Clancy and less growling from Rory. Rory does bite his face, sometimes making him bleed. Also can't resist attaching himself to Clancy's beautiful waggy tail. All the rough stuff aside Clancy is always with him, Rory follows him around in the garden and Clancy will choose to sit with him whenever possible.
How are your boys doing? Is Gibson fully recovered?
The boys are doing really well thanks. Yes they are definately driving us mad! They play well together and at last Clancy is starting to put him in his place occasionally.
Rory is a real character and has us in fits of laughter with his "naughty" antics.
How are your two? Its lovely to get an update from you as I know whats around the corner for us.

Funnily enough we have found that the best solution.
