Irish Swimmers
Any suggestions on how to effectively introduce a Setter pup to water to become a happy swimmer.
This is our 5th setter, only the first one was a swimmer, and then she balked after chasing us in a canoe.

What do you mean by swimming? Mine happily have a paddle in the sea or in a pond but as such will not swim a great distance. And why would they? It's not really in the breed. If you want to encourage swimming I'd introduce them gently which means you may need to get wet yourself. :)
